  1. I feel like whatever you end up using to remove the hatches may end up finally allowing modders to utilize Texture Replacer's transparent cockpit windows, without remodeling the entire part. exciting stuff
  2. There's a reason they say time spent is proportional to the quality of the final product.
  3. Unfortunately I don't see this working in RSS. The modder behind Kerbal Konstructs, has stated that he doesn't plan on RSS compatibility. Shame.
  4. Sometimes I wonder if there's anything KSP modders CAN'T do. Take my rep pizza. You deserve it.
  5. Kerbin used to have an atmosphere which cut out at 40km (back in the 0.08 days). Scott Manley has some good videos of how easy it was to break your ship apart on contact with in due to the drastic increase in density. To put it in his words: "It was like hitting a brick wall". So lets just make sure that isn't possible with whatever model you put in, though I'd prefer it if the atmospheric height wasn't changed in the first place.
  6. This looks really good. I'll be sure to take a gander at it now that it has been released.
  7. I'd actually prefer it if the atmospheres were kept as they are. I'd rather not lose compatibility with old saves, and we already have a mod for orbital decay. Plus, 800km is a bit high for kerbin. That's above the high orbit threshold, so we would be unable to acess low orbit science, and the delta V required to achieve a stable orbit around kerbin would increase dramatically. Just my opinion though.
  8. AlphaAsh, just to clarify, are the other collaborators in this project still working on it? I haven't seen any of them post in this thread in quite a while. Sorry for any misunderstanding here, but I'm just curious on whether or not they are still actively contributing to the mod.
  9. I'm just going to bump this on the hope that cvod is still working on this. If he does happen to notice my post, has there been any progress since the last post here?
  10. I'll second this. I would like to hop on this bandwagon also. Womp looks amazing from orbit. Also, for the record, the second moon of Eve was originally supposed to be gilly sized.
  11. So, just to make sure, this works with 1.0.4 correct?
  12. That'd be like... The fifth change of hands for this mod since the original release .
  13. What mods do you have that specifically add science experiments which don't use stock modules? eg: Dmagic, Impact!, etc. Those might be negatively interacting with the mod (since it scans for the stock science module).
  14. For the record, the Great Wall of China is quite difficult to see from orbit
  15. This was posted in the Kopernicus thread a couple days ago, and I was told to ask the mod devs. I did and after (rightly so) being ignored, I decided that here would be a better place to post this. Here is the exchange: have you tried moving jool to a higher orbit? put it at the same distance as neidon and try to look at the two planets maybe that can help Hmmm.... Jool disappears when moved out to Neidons orbit as well. Seems Like it's a stock issue. Is it possible that there could be a workaround?no idea, you can try asking also to the telescope mod devs As I said, this appears to be a stock issue. I'd like to know if there is a workaround to this, or if the planet rendering distance in stock is hardcoded. Thanks in advance for any help here.
  16. Alright, so I posted this in the Kopernicus thread, and was told to go here to see if you guys know anything about a workaround. have you tried moving jool to a higher orbit? put it at the same distance as neidon and try to look at the two planets maybe that can help Hmmm.... Jool disappears when moved out to Neidons orbit as well. Seems Like it's a stock issue. Is it possible that there could be a workaround?no idea, you can try asking also to the telescope mod devs Anyone know what's up?
  17. As I have yet to say this, now is as good a time as any. A bit of a belated but still genuine "Welcome back Lack, you've been missed.". (More like incredibly belated )
