Hello guys! good day! I'm having a little "problem" with the Kane 11-3 and Kane 11-5 command pods. When you return to rendezvous with the orbiter on a mun landing mission (I haven't try it on a different mission yet), the RCS thrusters of the pods are always on. The thrusters have no real effect (doesn't affect the orbit) , and the ammount of monopropellant doesn't drop. Only the animation of the pods is active, and there's no way to turn them off, not even when you disable the RCS module in the pod's menu. (weird huh?). This will happen with a new install of ksp, no other mod than BDB, and it's dependencies. I mean... always. And one little detail about BDB and CKAN.... I noticed that in CKAN, the Comunity Resource Pack is missing from the dependencies tab. In the middle of the rocket construction in the VAB, I was trying to change the properties of an engine, and the right click menu got stuck on the screen, the engine is the Sarnus-HE2J-550 “Dnoces” Cryogenic engine. And the only way to get rid of the menu is to save and reload the VAB. but if you try to right click the engine again, you'll be stuck. I Installed the Comunity Resource Pack manually and everything begins to work fine (Except for the pod's ghostly RCS fumes)

Yes, the game has changed... a lot! UPDATE: I was trying to discover what was wrong with my game configuration, And digging in my old notes I remembered one great MOD wich I used a while ago. and was uninstalled beacause (with 1.0 I think), you can launch your rockets just fine with or without it. Well... surprise! I just installed it again and now the steering of ANY kind of rocket it's so much better and stable. It works fine with KSP 1.2 and 1.2.1. Man! thank you so much @ferram4, this is a life saver.

Hello there! Well, actually I was looking for a place to ask this, and this thread looks like a good place to start. I'm having troubles to control my ships (Any ship, even the stock ones), and this issue never happened before (As long as I can remember). I'm using KSP 1.2 and 1.2.1 x64 on a windows system, fresh install, no mods (Or modded, the effect is the same). At launch with SAS active, the rocket (say... The stock Kerbal X) begins to yaw left (West), very slowly, and when the external tanks were emptied and detached, the rocket has moved now ten or twenty degrees to the left, and it can go on to fourty or sixty degrees. Now, I started to make a "gravity turn", and press the D key to yaw right (East). Now it's when it gets crazy... The ship begins to yaw right, but at the same time begins to pitch down (South) and roll right... as a result of this, the "obvious" response would be to cancel the pitch by pressing the S key to pitch up (North) trying to go back to the center again, well, the rocket now is pitching up, but also started to yaw left (West) again, So, Im at the center again but fourty to sixty degrees back to the left. And this continues on and on until you can reach a circular orbit. Another issue (More noticeable when the ship is in orbit), is this. Let's say you move your ship prograde and click the SAS button for Stability Assist mode. now, if you manually or click the SAS retrograde button. the ship will change direction and face backwards, but it keeps making a pendular motion four or six times before it reach a stable position ( I remember with version 1.1.3 or earlier. the ship turns and stop almost immediately). And all this movements with the A,W,S,D, controls needs to be done with the "precise" or "fine tunning" mode, in the normal mode the movement is very hard and it's very difficult to put the ship on the right spot. I've tried everything I know without any luck: - Change the wheel authority of the command pod and the reaction wheels. - Put some reaction wheels on top, (And/Or) bottom (And/Or) the middle of the ship and Change the wheel authority settings. - Change the Actuation toggles and the Gimbal limits of the engines. - Change the Actuation toggles and the Authority Limiter of the winglets. And... nothing, if anythig only gets worse. Is this normal? Am I missing something here? Maybe it's part of the new game physics and I need to read some documentation about it, and learn to do everything again? Or do I need to make some adjustements somewhere in the settings? I'm really hoping to get some help on this issues. And thank you for your time.

Hello guys! Thank you all for the warm welcome @Starhawk Yes, I found out about Felipe's history with SQUD and the development of the game while trying to assemble and launch a decent rocket in the game, a little more than a year ago. I'm always trying to learn some things about the games I play, the history, the developers etc. For me, makes the gaming experience a little more personal . @James Kerman Thank you James! Big Kerb-hug to Australia @owenmaley hahahaha of course! The terrible RAM limit... thanks to the makers that issue is over with the 64 bit KSP version @Ty Tan Tu nice one! I kept the analgesic tablets rigth beside the keyboard . Well in my experience, sometimes the basic questions have the most enlightening answers. So, nop, I'll never hesitate. thanks to all for your patience. @NSEP Thank you! I hope we'll meet somewhere near tranquility base. @monstah updating... And I thought orbital mechanics were difficult... oh boy! I soon realised how wrong I was. Have a nice one and CY@.

Hi everyone! I'm just passing by to introduce myself. I'm from México City, (so please excuse me if every now and then I write things the wrong way). I discovered KSP via youtube videos (Version 1.0 I think), and I was hooked up right away, I'ts an amazing game. Specially if becoming an astronaut and explore other planets has always been your most beloved dream. I don't have too much time to play games, but I use every minute available to do so. Took me about six months or so to discover the amazing mods that can be used in the game, And I'd like to thank everyone involved in the mod development. (And SQUAD too of course). The game is just twice as fun if you use mods ( and a headache sometimes). So, here I am, with some questions an hopefully some answers as well. let's have some fun rocketing around!

[1.5.x]Dr. Jet's Chop Shop v0.11.4.3 (20.10.2018)
Tio Oly replied to Dr. Jet's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hello again and good day to all . Thanks Dr Jet. Yes, I was updating manually, I usually use CKAN for installation/update, but for some reason in the CKAN v1.20.1 "Alexey", the chop shop mod is marked as ver. 0.10.1.1, but the Max version of KSP is only 1.1.3. (I can't figure out how to post images, that'll be my next task). It worked fine except for the MK2 tank issue, maybe the problem was the mismatch in the max ksp version, so, I looked for other source to update. I've downloded the mod from Spacedock and updated the game to 1.2.1, it works like a charm! Thank you for your time Dr Jet, in both the answer and the amazing mod. CY@! -
[1.5.x]Dr. Jet's Chop Shop v0.11.4.3 (20.10.2018)
Tio Oly replied to Dr. Jet's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hello everyone! Thanks Dr. Jet for the amazing mod, I've been using it for a long time now. It's really a must have. I'm using KSP 1.2, Everything works fine except for the Mk2 Lander Can. The LTS-2 (Lower stage) gets stuck in place when staging. and the hole ship begins to wobble. the only way to get rid of it it's start to turn and increase the speed until the tanks explode. I was searching the entire thread and I can't find any information about this issue. What do I need to post? an image of it? or some kind of log? Please excuse my ignorance, it's the first time that I try to make a comment about a mod. System: Win 10 x64 KSP 1.2 - fresh install. mods: Dr Jet's only.
