  1. well at this point using CKAN is not soo good idea, when sooooo many mod get updated, or it can recive periodic update, or get quick fix, best is to check original treath & do not take me wrong i like CKAN to special when i am lazy & want to find something quick

  3. new version test done but i will bring good news & bad news 1. Good news: NullReff spam was stop / gone that problem is fix 2. Bad news: Null Reff was replace by Exception now (it is not same spam but it is there) - enter in VAB / SPH load any stock craft you like it not mater > goo to runaway / launch pad > exception it will appear instant, look on logs what i will provide for this or something like that, i make game to triger multiple time You will have in zip file 2 type of logs: a. EVEOriginalpack = logs generate only with AnyCPU-EVE.zip b. Well that weird reflection at this point it can be deal, for who want, just disabling > Ocean: Accurate sky reflection < is not a big deal turn off that vs effect what it cause Performance ooooo mamaaa (johnny bravo voice style) it will hit hard any power full rig !!!!! but not only becouse what you was implement, witch is a great achievement !!! push pc to much ... becouse KSP it self at this point it need more optimization to, we are at beginning of looong road with this new unity 5 implementation ... 256 setting for light!!! nop i was not brave to want see my rig explode .   6. Hmm about that i am not expert but me i will look in scatterer\config\Eve\ for Settings.cfg & OceanSettings.cfg & i will try to play with this value: witch one is correct one, i not know to say hope it will help
  7. what you see there is new reflection add by new release = depending on where the sun is + reflection of clouds in the water (this part it have some issue from what i see at list on my side) + if it is add some light sources what came from the ship => is an explosion of colors short conclusion @blackrack was push game to next lvl > crazy immersion <

I seen this issue appear in 1196 but at that time i was concern by other problem & from reading your post i was not want to post about belive a new version it will be release aka better to wait a litle but now coz i make that mistake in eve section i was decide to adress to you A.   18. from reading log what you provide you was not done what i say EVE Version Info: _BuildManager, 1.5.5907.37509 TextureConfig, 1.5.5907.37509 Terrain, 1.5.5907.37509 ShaderLoader, 1.5.5907.37508 PQSManager, 1.5.5907.37509 PartFX, 1.5.5907.37509 CityLights, 1.5.5907.37509 CelestialShadows, 1.5.5907.37509 Utils, 1.5.5907.37508 EVEManager, 1.5.5907.37508 Atmosphere, 1.5.5907.37509 Is an old one & it was supose to be EVEManager > v1.5.5933.38810 < what means how i say you was not take correct version v0.5.8 0.5.8 aka take StockVisualEnhancements_0.5.8-UR.zip you have a good pc what can handle Ultra Resolution get that file & it will work
  19. Keen i will tell you most easy way to doo it A. Move out all mod you have now from gamedata B. Go this place & take ModuleManager https://ksp.sarbian.com/jenkins/job/ModuleManager/ C. Goo to & take any version you thing it will fit best for your pc & taste but make sure it will be 0.5.8 coz only that one is made for 1.1 https://github.com/Nhawks1717/StockVisualEnhancements/releases D. after you will see SVE it work aka you will have nice cloud you can set back rest of mod BUT be sure they are for 1.1 in case make step A,B,C result is not positive then something bad is there & it will require to doo much more like recheck file with steam, provide logs ... Anyway hope it will help & it supose to fix your problem Cheer & Salute
  20. @mikegarrison best what you can doo is to post log aka KSP.log & output_log.txt. Coz there there are useful information what can reveal what can cause problem like that p.s. same hope you was chose to run x64 KSP version when you run from Steam client aka when he ask that ... Cheer & Salute
  21. @Nhawks17 i can say for this stage KSP + Mod + how thing goo is surprising going well, personal i was expect to be more messy For all work what is done at this point by any enthusiastic, passionate one it need to thx for fact game was gather around a nice communities cheer to all. About asking for help i will love to help but beside grab thing what you do, what other dose, set together, mess with them & give feed back for more i think i will do more damage I will say do not rush, take your time actual release is good inaff for play with, it can be better yes but all it require time & patience special playing with graphic it is tidios, slow job, plus Eve & Scatter + Distant Object + Planet Shine + Ambient Light for sure they will be tune & modifies constantly What we all can pray is Eve & Scatter to not have radical change what to invalidate completely actual config file but well it can happen i sen that with RVE so i say agen patience is key of success I know very well what do you mean with "redoing the configs", i was try few time my self in my case ending bad, but that experience was teach me to undestend how thing work So cheer mate i will be around ready for testing thing, usual i keep close eye on Eve, Scatter, RVE, KSPRC, SVE & most Visual mod what can make game look better (no offence for miss / not name long list with visual pack mods) Bow & Salute
  22. yup i think you are right AA off they are gone or you need to have eagle eye to see them but i prefer have AA active special single place were they appear is horizon + water & only if i am looking specific to them, in my opinion cloud shadow & fade transition between specific altitude value it brake immersion but i know rbray it work to tune better if i remember correctly from last his post but with patience i bet all it will be fine & nice

For me, beside my video card struggle to work (witch is normal is old one 650 gtx), all is fine, there are some pixelated horizon, very very small & they are seen only if i look specific to them but let say they are less now with new CompiledAtmosphericScatter file I use Eve (SVE UH) + Scatter + Distant Object + Planet Shine + Ambient Light Adjustment If you want i can start a twich stream for a live test but i think all is fine & you better get feedback from someone with at list 750, 950 gpu version Salut
