Agreed, i say from beginning there are other mod inside of game & i done this intentional to see how game & grumpy +rest of mods work together or how game it handle in stress situation. Result or how game behave it variate depend by each situation, probabil i can spam with recording, but much more important i think is to recive more feedback from many other ... special this can help to make a small step in optimize, cough, cough, game (looking innocent around cough & whistle) Small question: game by default what value it suppose to have with Grumpy ? anyway if is anything what can be done from my side yell & i will see Cheers! -

GrumpyCollector, 2. MemGraph, 3. KerboKatz with FPSLimiter & FPSViewer Some small shuttering what it can be seen in movie they are influence by combo use KSP + OBS recording what i stop try to optimize because KSP it self but what is important to be seen it can be seen same anyone can do same & it will see result direct, what can be diferite depend by each PC hardware configuration . This is one place to see GrumpyCollector effect but for each sceane view, situation result it will be other ... WARNING: For who expect to see something woow do not bother to watch, recording is done for testing reason!!!! Thx for made greath tolls like this -

o yees what result in better comunication between hardware & soft IF request are made proper, on a simple test lower Grumpy to 0.250 you will see straight / instant in MemGraph efect, then up rise to +2 or more depend by each rig configuration agen effect it will be seen instant to MemGraph by the way GrumpyCollector + MemGraph work perfect to see result how it goo -

well i will add on this is not only about memory, in equation it need to be track more thing like cpu, gpu, graphic engine, what function it use & in what condition or how (see unity + dx9,dx11, opengl), what version it use ... & i agree with sarbian is not a easy task to be done, but i agree with padishar to -

@lCristol what you was compare is old eve system with new eve system what bring cloud volumetry, SVE it was not desing for last eve dev release yet but it will be soon tm- 2,401 replies

Some fix what need to be done if is follow @Rhavoreth install procedure: A. For all who experience problem like not have cloud with workaround RVE pack try this: 1. Download this: https://github.com/rbray89/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/blob/cbceb3b052ae73f9f9bb1dd12e045d814ac10188/AnyCPU-EVE.zip 2. Install ONLY EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements 3. Check if is any BoulderCo folder in Gamedata if it is remove it you need to have RVE B. For who will have NRE like that it need to be done this: 1. Goo to RVE > EVE > CityLights 2. Open cityLights.cfg with notepad & delete all line 3. Copy all line from Spoiler 4. Paste in cityLights.cfg file, save & close C. Delete from RVE > SunFlare directory it not need anymore, Scatterer it will do that Have fun & Enjoy -
@Lewtz i recomand you to post that log to Extrasolar forum section there are issue what moder neet to see them, glat it was fix your problem

i think i found who generate all this problem with noo cloud check in his log 2 thing BoulderCo & Extrasolar, if Extrasolar it bring BoulderCo then it will scrue up SVE noo mater is install manual or true CKAN, but for be sure it need to be done a install using CKAN SVE & Extrasolar or rise that flag to CKAN management paste from his log ___________ update: in blue3wolf case i was wrong he was not have Extrasolar, my bad

@blu3wolf errr looking in your logs i found problem found: Go to Gamedata & delete / remove > BoulderCo < directory or move to other place that should fix your problem Who & from were that was add atm i not have time to figure but remove that it will fix problem Cheers

k quick question do you not have cloud in game menu ? if you enter in game goo to traking station cloud there are there ? (game menu see picture)

k log what you provide SVE is instaling from link what i post & what @Nhawks17 YES / NO if NO then install from were it i say, post log agen KSP.log + output_log.txt & before install from link what i say unistall from CKAN, make sure you will not have any EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements & StockVisualEnhancements left in Gamedata

@rbray89 few question if is posible: - thickness of cloud is influence by _DetailsScale value + Layer Volume size + Area ? - fade or distance were cloud are seen, render are define by _DetailDist, _DistFade ? - is it a way to make cloud to be less grid & be more random spread up, down, in all direction ? see picture, i was try to combine 3 layer at close altitude (2000, 2400, 2800) with diferite value but impact on fps is huge Cheers -

i know you are streaming & i know way you ask about dark moment but for situation like that there are 2 mods what can help you: 1. Ambient Light Adjustment = 2. Minimum Ambient Lighting Pick one & use it when you fell darkness is to overwelm & you will want to let streaming viewer to see something Cheers

@tomf first of all way you want to use 1.1.1 when last version of KSP is 1.1.2 & most mod are done for 1.1.2 ? Second do you use SVE or anyother visual pack ? For me dx11 it was work fine, with noo crash, if i use Scattering 245 + last Eve release (https://github.com/rbray89/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements) @blackrack enter in game goo to tracking station > open debug window (alt +f12) then hit alt +10 to open Scatterer config window it supose to triger instant EXC spam, config window it will not be functional & if you will close it will stop EXC spam ___________ Update: i just test SVE + Scatterer 245 using -forec-d3d11 & yes is instant crash, how i say only last new release of Eve is working aka from version what bring new system with new cubemap texture BUT for who want to use last Eve update is not compatible with SVE because it need to rebuild to new system, same thing for any other visual pack

it was done 2 separate version because Memory limitation what was in Windows version before 1.1 aka linux was have high top texture rez becouse was not care about Memory ... soo in 1.1 not have anymore Memory problem is fine to be use ... -
Np glad it was work & @Nhawks17 you better set on favorite that link because probabill other it will need to till you will make a new release i will give a kingdom for a new cubemap texture made by you or @Proot or @pingopete what to work with new eve release !!!

Quick Test: D:\Games\KSP112\KSP_x64.exe -force-d3d11 -popupwindow Scatterer-0.0245 Last Eve release stock one no other visual add) that was release 4 day agow Noo crash yet, all look fine, there are minor glich but it work, special when it is tabing between window Watch out GPU memory it will be use ~70/80% > in my case 2G ram = 1.6 G on runway & 1.7-1.8 G on VAB, SPH, but for get a better result it will require to be done more controlled test
