  1. Back in the dunes, they drive me mad . . .
  2. Bye bye bridge . . . TBC
  3. No mods here, just navigating using the navball and a map of Kerbin. "That must be the greatest pirate you've ever seen" He is just being modest, I am great. It's all drawn in MS Paint.
  4. Well, you don't have to do it nonstop, you can drive for a bit, stop, and go back to the space center and return later. (no quicksave) But it is pretty cool to do it in one go if you have the time. Yes, I'm all for that. It doesn't have to be only solar powered. But remember, your time starts as soon as you start a new game, so you have to strategically time placing your fueltanks. * EDIT: It is the fastest option, I'm doing this solar and lose 2-4 hours a day waiting to recharge batteries, in that time it would be possible to drop fuel on multiple waypoints without losing time against solar drivers For more info:
  5. Well, that wasn't boring. Next route: TBC
  6. Checkpoint 23 Next route:
  7. "press B to survive" "press P to party" TBC
  8. I don't want to do this . . .
  9. Imagination bro, imagination.
  10. Would you be prepared to do it like me ? Pure vanilla, without quicksaving (I can never check if somebody would quicksave, that is why I allow to fly in a new buggy unless your kerbal is death) I will allow Fueled engines and refueling them. But seriously, you think people would go that far ? I guess if this becomes a challenge I'd split it up into vanilla and modded. Everybody's feedback is welcome. Checkpoint 22 We still have a river to pass by . . . It's all downhill from here, time for some rollercoaster action (not to much please) TBC
  11. Oops, didn't notice . . . Sorry @Val There goes my account . . .
  12. Thanks to this log I'm gathering so much information; speed, distance, time, terrain. It will take me a week alone just to analize and summarize all that data Yes, I'm a nerd . . .
  13. Thanks, I'm out of likes, again, sorry. got some Are you up for a polar rally ?
  14. The forum is allways here to help, you will manage
  15. Are we being lazy ? Flying in the markers is part of the challenge. It's not only driving pole2pole, it's also a rally. The time starts as soon as you start a new game. So you will be on your own from the beginning. Designing the vehicles won't take time since the clock stops in the vab and sph. You can use a shortcut by flying to the southpole, place a flag, fly back, launch your rover transport to the northpole, place flag, begin. There are still a lot off things to work out for a good challenge. The hardest part: - Navigate - long boring drives - staying alive - long boring drives
  16. O no, I'm busy enough with the scoreboard as it is now . . . But yeah, props for the night rider.
  17. Yeah, me too, I wish we had more likes to give. Thanks for the support Jacke, response really helps me doing this madness rally. I've been driving for a week now, it's absurd. Are there people willing to do this if I make this into a challenge ? I would advice anyone to run away screaming . . .
  18. Getting close to the river, easy driving so far. I hope the river is easy to cross . . .
  19. Not much is happening, but I have a nice view.
