    It's allowed, after each stage you can do what ever you want to the car, just leave it where it is. That would mean no fixing in the SPH or VAB, only on the spot, just like Dakar. Edit: I know you know this, just repeating it for the newcomers.

    Yes, but since Lego only lets there sets go for a period of time bying them is actually a good investment. When I buy a set I keep the box, stickers, instructions. (I do open them and use the bricks, not the stickers). Incredible. Who's driving ? Darth Vader ?

    Very interesting point... Looking at the Dakar there are teams driving the same cars (BMW Mini). So entering "clones" should be legal. How we gonna solve this ? Solution can be using a different Kerbal for driving the car...
