Today, SNOW !

Hovercrafts, tanks, flying flags, foodstands, shooting mooses... In my mind this challenge would be so simple: build a car, race from flag to next flag making screenshots, repeat 6x. I'm still cool You are right, I didn't expect this level of response. In fact, it started out as a mission idea as the title still says. It's just the things some people come up with, it amazes me. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I guess the most important thing is that we have fun and not being bored during the holidays.

Also, why do some of you need markers ? I zoom out to see where to go and after testrunning the stages 6 times or so I know my way around now.

"give the guy a break..." Although I like the fact that you use the Races! mod, I don't think fellow contestants will think it will be fair. People who use flags for the timing have to brake first while with using the Races! gates you can drive through them at 100 m/s setting a faster time...

Although I hate the idea of people editing a cfg file, they are working on solving a problem. Kudos for the extra effort. But it won't be stock. Note: This rally is about being smart, choose your path, controle your speed. Making a driving rocket is not going to make the challenge easier, and if it does you are not doing it right, unless you have lots of fun doing it.

You don't get the point. I want you to use the mods, I want to see those nice screenshots. But why is this category thing so important to you ? Have you even driven all stages ? Maybe you won't even make it ? This is what I will do, I will wait until 1st Feb and then use the results everybody send in to see what categories ar needed.

I will give you your own category : cars that are made stock but use light and sticker mods. I'm sorry guys, but some problems you give me are just insane. I know putting up a WIP challenge can be confusing and rules are not clear yet but some things are just to obvious. I just want you guys to have fun designing, sharing information, making friends, showing and racing your magnificent machine hoping to even make it through the 7 stages. I want to read the stories, see the pictures, I don't care about times or mods beeing used. For me that is the real spirit of Dakar.

I would like to consider a stock build car using the indicator lights mod as stock, but technically it wouldn't be, would it ? I don't know, it's about how you want to do this, scared off flipper flipping over ? use SAS. Like stickers ? Stick 'em.
