When all you're good at is asymmetric airframes, everything starts to look like a nail.

Stranger things have happened - Festival children, et cetera. That said, after the removal of homages to Gagarin and Tereshkova from a trailer, I wasn't looking forward to unstringing my purse, and at any rate... This item is currently unavailable in your region I shall thoroughly respect the choice of the creator who doesn't want my money.

Two stories about car AC from my very, very early childhood. On Mitsubishi Lancer, the AC really, really ate into the engine power. This unfortunately was discovered when my father was passing a semi-trailer, the thermal sensor engaged the AC, and the car... just... stopped accelerating... while in the oncoming lane. Our next car (enabled by certain shenanigans with the corporate car rules, and a detour into Finland) was a Subaru Forester. 2L turbo. And one summer day, stuck in an unmoving traffic jam on the beltway, it overheated. The automatics shut the turbine down... and switched the AC to maximum heating.

That looks like a distorted version of the vanilla cloverleaf. Thus far I've never had it clog too badly, but I've never gone above 50k. You're going to get me to go back to this game, aren't you?

Before I clocked out of Telegram for my vacation, I caught the earlier reports based on lower-resolution photos, where this was thought to be more deception camo like the one recently introduced on warships. To me, it even looked like the digitized edges of this: ROFL. Granted, one major threat category are attacks with quadcopters and small drones launched just outside the base in 'mainland' Russia. There was a ferocious flame war between the don't-rock-the-boat and the we're-beset-by-idiots camps of Z-Telegram whether covered and reinforced hangars or at least airplane-sized "cope cages" are a worthwhile idea. Because this seems to be the product of a scream of "DO SOMETHING!!1!" after two shredded Il-76s, two burnt-up Il-76s and a burnt-up Tu-22M within the space of a week.

The following satire represents my view on the current wave of publicity. https://panorama.pub/news/antikovidnyj-fond-billa-gejtsa-zaregistriroval Imagine the libel lawsuits that would eventually follow from the real aliens ...they'll end up taking our water just to cover the bailiffs' propellant expenditure.

Unfortunately, preliminary design is the project stage with de facto the highest profit margins (you can cram in a lot of... dubious expenses), whereas mass production on Russian government contracts has a way of ending up below cost. Imagine having to find a way to pay an engineer when only the region's average salary is allowed to be budgeted into your costs, and the rest is coming out of your (slim) on-paper profit margin...

Is there a decent AI that does the inverse of Stable Diffusion/Midjourney et cetera and describes images? I know Clipdrop, but it usually provides only the most basic keywords. -
As well as using the user-defined game tags, which are always completely out of whack.

It does in Luxembourg, but they're essentially trying to ride coat-tails that may or may not exist.

Fun fact: RKK Energia has publicly traded stonks. They were up 165% when Luna-25 launched (despite having pretty much nothing to do with the mission) and then dropped by 20%. Hm... this gives me ideas...

The Soviet Union is holding America's beer. Poor quality image but it shows the scale of the two ideas floated back in the 50s and the 60s. Nuclear earthworks included, just how we like 'em. Given the magnitude of the undertaking, the concern of Canadian conspiracy theorists that the US would conquer them to facilitate this didn't sound too far-fetched.

Luna-25M3M UTTKh Obr. 2025... I always liked the way "bis" sounded, it's a pity this postfix has been largely abandoned. The tendency of Roscosmos's budget to shrink, even in nominal terms, and even at a time the "black" portion of the Russian budget is shooting skyward like a 53T6.
-
Is this really the case, though? The amount of money that still gets allotted that way is rather impressive, and the space race rhetoric is clearly there.

Norway is building a border wall with Russia. And it's not what you think. Norwegian deer herds keep wandering over to the Russian side, and the Russian environmental authorities giddily send over detailed bills for all the eaten moss... which the Norwegian side honors (as best as it can given the current restrictions), but the costs merit a border fence at this point. https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/6183457 Meanwhile, the Soviet-Finnish Deer Convention of 1933 fixes such payments at 0.05 Swiss Golden Franc per adult deer per day, but no such document exists with Norway. http://docs.historyrussia.org/ru/nodes/138740-konventsiya-ob-olenyah-mezhdu-soyuzom-sovetskih-sotsialisticheskih-respublik-i-finlyandskoy-respublikoy-gelsinki-4-iyulya-1933-goda#mode/inspect/page/4/zoom/4

Early speculation of Luna-25bis as Borisov floats the idea of a repeat lander to the South Pole in 2025-2026. https://t.me/roscosmos_gk/10620

Granted, the most populous nation on Earth is indeed "one of a few". The club hasn't become that much less exclusive, it's the players that are rising or falling.
-
Yes, it addresses many problems of the original. But, like KSP1, I'd stick with the first one... and I haven't booted up my gaming laptop in well over a week.

Did the T-Rex's front limbs get... "revised downwards" while I wasn't looking?
