How much space does KSP take up on your hard drive
322997am replied to DoctorDavinci's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I forgot. I would estimate 10 gb cause I mod a lot. -
I think B9 HX could accomplish that

Let's just say this, I like new content, but nobody really likes paying for it. But squad has to have their crab so I will pay. No sarcasm. Seriously. Now my concern is associated with a backstory that may be over in a few months. My parents were never helicopter parents except when it comes to money. They take my gift cards that I get for my birthday and buy math textbooks for me. Ok, I don't care I earn a few bucks here and there anyway. But this money is in cash, and steam doesn't like cash. This problem will be solved as I negotiated that I could get a job over the summer and keep half and give half for my private school I got into. Now, I will buy the DLC when I have my own money. Ok, I am one of the kids/teens that have the opportunity to buy this. But many do not. And they know that the ppl who bought it before 2013 get the DLC for free. I understand why this is done, but doing a "veteran" priority will build a 50 ft wall between the old and new, and people who have the DLC vs those who don't. I honestly could see this community dying from this. My solution: don't do the 2013 veteran thing. Not worth it. Should have read sources.

Well, I will say this. If this is the only dlc this game gets for the next 2 year, and its good, then ok. But squad, keep in mind that DLC is a slippery slope that ea fell down, 2k fell down and avalanche is next. Also, DLC has a lot of stigma around it (thx a lot ea) which may reduce sales if new buyers see the "DLC" on the buy page on steam.

Imma go drive here I'm interested.

Well, this is what happened to me: 1. I played the game stock 2 I installed bda 3. Fell down the slippery slope of mods and installed 20 more 4. Still playing. Get bored, add a mod.

The only way To get a good acceleration is using the kraken. I used the kraken myself. But to keep it equal, one can only use the current version.

They're updated

The challenge is simple. Accelererate with the most force. You may not use tools that accelerate you, and you may not use mods that are insane(use common sense). You also may not use the HE boost button. You must use ksp 1.2.2 Here is my entry: http://m.imgur.com/gallery/9kR8j the scoring goes like this: base score: max g force achieved +1g: per kerbal accelerated At said speed +2g: got to space without HE/integrated orbit editor +5g: no engines leaderboard: 1. Gaarst-8172.2g 2. 322997am-33.9g+5g=38.9g 3. badge: to be released if some people accept challenge.

There is hope. And the thing is, I made many prototypes, but this one is by far the most stable and powerful. The one behind it is 19.5g.

So what do u think

Did I post enough pics

The KraKen drive is something that many players cherish, but understand that it is long lost. It is also common knowledge that pushing on a SEPARATE VESSEL creates force. But this glitch has not been stabilized to be useable. I decided to use trial and error and stabilized the technology to be used as almost a thruster. It is still pretty unstable, due to the 32 g it put out under my tests. This makes it prone to turning, and have a high chance of failing, exploding, or even ripping your vessel to shreds. But opportunity is in store for the long lost kraken drive. imgur: http://imgur.com/gallery/9kR8j Download: https://kerbalx.com/322997am/k-drive-1 PS: i beat the record for the highest g's achieved with a k drive

The science behind materials in kerbol system!
322997am replied to cratercracker's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I think the most valuable planet is minmus. Lots of salt, helium 4, and ice -
I use the following mods, because they complement and add to the game: 1. BdA 2. Kis/kas 3.he 4. B9 5. Firespitter

Sorry I was kinda in Sorry for rushed post without much research in it, but I was landing on duna, and my escape key broke(I am not kidding you, I am dead serious) so first, I meant that it will fuse if they are made of a lighter material like lithium or the such. Then, in a matter of a little bit of time, it should run out of mass, and either collapse and become a black hole, which there is not enough mass for, or it will lose its pull and explode.

do you have any maintained stations in sun's orbit?
322997am replied to omelaw's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well, I evicted them on an ssto -

322997am replied to omelaw's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I actually like to keep a science station so it will be in an orbit where the PE is near Moho and the AP is near eeloo. But that thing got jools help to crash into the sun. -
Those I use for aesthetics mostly. Also, for a small private jet they are ok.
-
I PLAY with BDA and HE. BDA is mostly for the ai and physics and HE is for the lander.
-
I build a pretty rudimentary k drive that made 19.5 g according to the max g achieved, but then I did the maths and the acceleration was 2000 m/s/s or around 200g

Can I use bda for the physics range extension?
