Try a 2.5m tundra workshop set to [workshop] mode. Don’t know if it will work uncrewed though. @RoverDude will it work? -

Maybe efficiency parts can help. Not sure though. -
I guess I understand now. So the next logical thing for them to do will be slapping even more F9 boosters together and calling it Falcon Super Heavy.
-
They probably could make it bigger, since FH has higher TWR at liftoff.
-
Is FH upper stage any different from F9 upper stage?

Probably nothing short of a 20m dome factory will suffice for in situ DIY Kit construction. Endgame stuff. -
Don’t think so. My KSP experience tells me there won’t be enough atmo pressure to keep it stable, and since the engine is heavier than the fuel tank, it will flip towards the plasma stream.
-
It’ll be an 11km/s reentry, way hotter than Dragon LEO reentry. Also, drained upper stage is probably aerodynamically unstable and will flip engine-first. I also doubt that it is strong enough to withstand the g-load from TMI aerobraking.

CRS-13, Zuma and FH, all within a month! Nice! It'll be a really busy month for SpaceX. Hopefully no more delays for FH!

Or that. I just don't play Pathfinder, so if it's doable, great. -

But in this case we need to change the inventory size. Or just disable it when the part is uninflated. -

Yea, I you'd have to dynamically change KIS volume for that. Somehow. -

I don't think inflatable KIS containers are possible. -
Probably won't catch all three of them.

You still need to ship huge KIS containers in order to build actual base parts that are bigger than Ranger series. 5m KIS container to build 3.75m Tundra parts, for example. And then you need to attach it to your base. Not the easiest thing to do. -
It looks to me like they misinterpreted that DM somehow and thought that the plan wasn't real. Then rushed to update the article. Either that, or Elon changes his mind every 10 minutes or so.

Looks like the Verge screwed up big time.
-
Whyyyyyyyyy!? I told my friends about it already! Now I'm going to look like an idiot, great...

Launched during a blizzard. Pretty! -
Why can’t they just employ thousands of people AND do useful things in space?
-
Crazy idea, but what if you attach Orion's SM to a crew Dragon? It would probably have enough dv to land from LLO, since it's much lighter than Orion.

But: “In this case, we accepted it only on this particular flight. We did not accept it in a generic sense,”
