Uh-oh, can Canberra give some informative screens of the Vindicator? like side view, inside view and stuff, I want to try and make my own fighter that actually works. Instead of all of MY rubbish ones.
-
A formiddable foe! For SAP-C To move forward in warship technnology, I should contribute more than making ships that are generally worse versions of better ships Alpha has made, I, too, will learn from Attila the Hu- Warship.
-
It's like Mulan then, they're up against Attila the Hun and have no chance, while I'll make a man out of you plays in the background, if I could make a cinematics I would be rendering a Nouvelle charging an Attila head-on, while two Posteruses loom in the background, as if they were saying "are they insane?"
-
All thats in my head right now is DUN DUN DUN DUN DUDUNDUN DUNDUNNNN from star wars and this image of a fleet of massive ships with a massive nuclear engine exhaust behind them, with Dres looming in the distance, while an Attila is waiting for them there, except the roles are actually opposite in the scenario right now.
-
Awesome! I thought the Trecut was a new ship, I was confused, FOR SAP-C!
-
But, of course! The Controllable-Fighter-Missile-Pods are WIP, I need to add some more advanced manuevring so it can actually get back in place without extremely complicated manuevre.

Hello everyone, I am developing the loveable yet (hopefully) deadly Oberon-Class _____, that _____ Is one of the parts I need help with, because I have no clue how to class ships, it weighs 66.5tons and is quite small, but with inspiration from Zamovinar's Cruiser-Carriers fighter-engine pods, it's two arnaments are deadly arnaments, being designed to detatch from the ship, close in on the target and get to the right distance, fire a missile, and attatch back onto the ship, they're WIP atm, it is quite short and I think it's kinda cute, but it wont be when it's holding up against a larger ship, so if anyone can tell me how to class it, please do, and if anyone wants screens, then ask and I will provide. Thanks.

Oi! I see that!

Hey, HatBat, love your series, if you want to use this tank I made for it (For HKA or GMI, IDC) then here's the thread, it has the download link and some pictures so you know what it is. Thanks. Hope you like it! P.S. What does HKA stand for? I know GMI is general mining industrial, but what is HKA?

V1 Boar Surface Defence Vehicle. [BDA]
Sharkman Briton replied to Sharkman Briton's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thanks, I'm proud of it too, most of my tanks are either junk or completely useless. -
So I decided to try again at making a tank as I always fail at it, and I didn't this time, and the V1 Boar is the result. What is the V1 Boar? Good question, It's a nice-looking yet functional tank, utilizing TWO Vulcan Turrets (BDA) and enough ammo to feed them, it can be driven manned or unmanned because of it's probe core and external command seat, it had eight wheels and I have observed a speed of 21.2m/s on it, but it may have gone faster when I had the HUD disabled. Tell me more! Okay, It weighs just over seven tons, has 78 parts, looks very nice and the main body can survive hits of up to 80m/s thanks to structural panels, the double vulcan turret was inspired by HatBat's tanks (can't remember if it's GMI or HKA lol) on Duna, in his Kethane Station series, and the rest is inspired by my imagination, it may not be something you'd fling against a Zokesia tank (Haven't tested this theory though, you're welcome to.) but it's reliable, functional and just as pretty, and thanks to it using Vulcan turrets instead of the usual cannon, you can spam shots until either you run out of ammo or the guns overheat, without having to reload! Because of it's ladders, a Kerbal can easily climb up the sides and board the command seat, It has some nice lights, too, so you can see at night. Moar? Fine, heres an album of it. As you can see, it may not be good for destroying buildings, but I'm sure that in further testing it will wreck other vehicles. This is also being designed to be operable on Duna, but since I don't want to go there until I go there legitimately, I'd love if you guys tested it there and gave me some results, it drives fine on Kerbin so it should be okay on Duna, If you have any suggestions for improvements on it's design, please inform me, as I want this to be a reliable tank for most if not all terrain. (8 wheels does seem to make it flip if you turn too sharply at too high of a speed.) All in all, the V1 Boar is designed to play a supporting role in defending ground bases, and not specifically to attack them, but it's possible, and well within it's capabilities, I'm a post, not a cop, do what you want with it, I'm just designing it with that role in mind. And again, two Vulcan Turrets is very good for bulletspam.Heres some pics so far, atm it's two pics from the album, but as it gets developed I will add moar. A Boar tested against 1: a Posterus and 2: Another Boar.Craft file on KerbalX: Have Fun! Property of SAP-C (SSI-ASAIB-PB Cong.)

I agree, but then again the same is with any fuel tank.

Whats your spider do you hate the most?
Sharkman Briton replied to Sharkman Briton's topic in The Lounge
what the heck? That clock spider is the creepiest thing I've seen for a while, they're gonna lay eggs soon, the clock is ticking! (Groan) -
I'm reposting another thread on this forum because I think I can add some more info, why don't we have a mod for wraparound fuel tanks? I got the idea after playing ith my pen, Biro, basically, when I took it apart there waas three parts, the ink tube which also has the tip, the "Fairing" for the top of the ink tube, and the white shell around the ink tube, so let's turn this into a rocket like I though of. Shell = Wraparound fuel tank, and engine on that stage uses LF+OX Ink tube = Hydrogen tank, nozzzle is a cryogenic engine (For interstellar mod) "Fairing" = Payload, or simply the payload fairing. So in this scenario, we're launching this "Pen" rocket, first, it's LF+OX engines burn, using the bounty of fuel in the wraparound fuel tank, which is quite tall because of the Ink holder being quite tall, this stage put's the rocket in either an almost-orbit, or sub-orbital trajectory, then, that wraparound fuel tank and it's engine are jettisoned, looking like a drinking straw coming out of a wrapper kind of, leaving the skinny Cryogenic stage andthe payload and (if) fairing, the Cryogenic stage achieves orbit and put's the payload into whatever orbit is needed, because of the high efficiency of cryogenic engines, then, the Cryogenic stage is jettisoned, leaving the payload in the correct orbit. Something like this is what I really want to be able to achieve in KSP, but it would only be possible with a mod that adds the wraparound fuel tanks (and the interstellar mod.) and I'm not talking about that mod the guy made with the orange wraparound fuel tanks that jettison in 4's, I'm talking something like the Round-8, but big and you can actually put stuff inside the hollow bit. (I never got why you can't actually do that.) This would make for very interesting and unique designs and very good stuff, and it could make rockets look alot nicer by relying on two fuel tanks on the same height in the same place being different stages, theres alot of good things that coud come from this, but I'm no modder, so if anyone can make something like this, it would be amazing, and I would also like to know who agrees with me that it's and interesting concept. Thank you.

"Duna, Ore Bust!" -- a KSP Graphic Novel (COMPLETE)
Sharkman Briton replied to Mister Dilsby's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Hey Kuzz, both segments of Part 3 are out on Minmus Explorers. BTW, nice to see more DOB, thought it ended at the end of chapter 3 or whenever they were back on their way to Kerbin, that or my memory is fuzzy.- 598 replies

Minmus Explorers Part 3 2/2: Malcolm In SPAACE! "You do know why you're in here, right?" Gene asked. "Nope, no clue." Malcolm Answered. "Well, you're going to be the first Kerbal in space for the Minmus Explorers Project." "WHAAA?!" Malcolm had no clue HE would be the first one! "Yes, You're a good pilot, and since you're our Test Pilot, you know what to do in emergency situations." "Okay, send me up, Skotty!" "Not yet, you need some briefing." Malcolm sighed, he'd rather jump to the launch. "We're sending you up there to be the foundation for the future space station, you're going to go up, get into a stable orbit, bring you apoapsis and periapsis to an about one hundred kilometer orbit, and try and get the nodes as similar as possible if you can, then, you are going to rest up, do diddly-squat because you're going to be in a cramped MK1 Lander Can, and get some sleep and we will send up another kebal and their ship to rendezvous with you, thus forming the first part of the station, then, the first servicer will go up, which will dock onto the station, bringing an engineer on-board, who will add some parts to the station, before bringing you and the engineer back down in that servicer, leaving the second Kerbal involved up there with two lander cans of living space. Oh and don't you dare forget to take beauty shots along the way!" Gene explained in great detail. "Okay, okay." Malcolm walked over to the announcement stage, jumped up on it and shouted "I'm pumped!" "Malcolm, the Kerbin election votes are old news, stop making jokes about it." Gene demanded. "Okay, Okay! Hehehe." "Oh, and you will be able to take ONE small item with you in the lander can, what do you want?" "I'll have a Kartini, shaken, not stirred and on the rocks!" Malcolm was crying in laughter now. "Haha. Funny. Now, seriously, what do you want?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next meeting: Admindistration building small-scale meeting hall. Mid-day. "So, I'm going up in that BadS rocket, to spend three days with Malcolm? I'll go insane!" Val protested. "Do you want to go up or not? I can schedule Gemet to go instead." Gene knew how to make Val do anything. "Fine! I'm a better pilot then her, I'll go, just give me some earplugs, air freshener or deoderant, and I'll be ready, I've spent days with him in a cramped space before, he stinks. He doesn't even bother to do something about it!" Val explained. "Of course, so, earplugs and deoderant, thats about, uh..." "Eins kilogramz, dummkopf!" Wernher shouted out from another room. "Yes, thank you, Wernher, anyway, Val so, after you go up there and dock with him, a servicer crew craft will come up, with an engineer, who will install some things on the station, then go back down with Malcolm in the servicer, then you have a while to yourself, we will be able to keep in contact with you through radiowave transmission, and since it's a rather low orbit, there won't be much if not no delay at all." "Gotcha. Who's the engineer gonna be?" Val asked. "Guess." "Aldvis? Like it always is when you say engineer?" "Yeah, either him or Bill, haven't decided yet, though Bill is telling us he's getting rather bored with Aldvis doing all the work." ------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few hours later, Lugee's room, red sky at night. Shepards delight. "Aye, Blaze, 'ere Kittehkat! Ye too, Amber!" "Mroow" "Mew" "I got ye wee Kuna, for yer supper." Soon enough two cats, one small, one quite larger, chewing on Kuna, their favourite food. "Prrr, Mroow? (Hey, Blaze, do you think these come from Duna? They sound similar.)" "Mew, Mreow. (Don't be ridiculous, Mum!)" "Prr, Mree, Mree! (Hah hah, joking, I know they aren't!)" "What are ye two goin' on aboot? Ye adurable lil' Kittehkats!" --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Communal Room, red sky at night. Shepards delight. "So, theres two muffins in an oven, one muffin says to the other, 'Good grief, it's hot in here!' and the other muffin says 'Good grief, a talking muffin!' Hah." Gemet joked, the whole room made a cringe-y fake laughing noise. "Zho, uh, Bob'z up next!" Wernher announced. "A Koala's driving a Kar, and a Kar full of Kandas hit his mirror with the side of their Kar, the Koala rolls down his window, and shouts out 'Oy! You calipped us!' The pandas say 'Nah, prefer Bamboo.'" The whole astronaut complex was in tears. Bob leapt off the stage. "Vell Zen, heh, zat's everyvone, who vants zome more, Hydvazine?" Wernher proposed. All the Kerbals yelled "Heck yes!" This night was a celebration night for Malcolm's upcoming launch, the rocket, named the 'Sharkman Launch Sloth 3' was designed by Bill and Aldvis together, and utilizes two point-five meter 'ingredients' as Bill calls them. Whil'st the lander can is not soundproof, providing a case of 'bleeding ears' during take off, the seat has a cushion on where you're supposed to put your head, at least, so the G-force wont be crushing your head against a metal pole that makes up the seat's skeleton. ------------------------------------------------------- That night, nighttime (obviously), Astronaut Complex. All is dark, sleepy-time for Malcolm... "ZZZ" Suddenly, a huge metal CLANKing sound is heard, all the lights are turned on by awoken Kerbals, and the Meowing of Blaze and Amber is heard. Followed by another massive CLUNK. Malcolm's rocket was delivered, and he did not remember that Gene told him it was going on in the middle of the night! "Kerbonauts, please report to Mission Control, and Malcolm Kerman, report to the Launch Pad immidiately, thank you." The robotic announcer requested. And soon enough, many half-awake (or half-asleep?) Kerbals were filling up Mission Control, looking through a Camera on the launchpad, showing Malcolm sat infront of the rocket, tapping his fingers on it's sharp orange plating. "I wonder if this tastes like orange, too?" Malcolm said, before licking the orange fuel tank leading to him promptly licking the ground to get the taste of Oxidizer spilt by the fuel loader out of his mouth. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! A large crane came out of the VAB, going down the Crawlerway's rails and infront of the rocket, where it dropped down a fittingly tall ladder, Wernher was at the platform ontop of this engineering feat, making a gesture with his hands telling Malcolm to climb up. Malcolm did that exactly and there he was on a rather high up platform leading to the Sharkman Launch Sloth 3's fairing. "Have a nice vlight, comvrade!" Wernher said. "Will do, and hopefully I can catch up on some sleep I've just lost up there." Malcolm giggled. "Nein, vous vill be vide awake avter ze rockets enzines have vinished carving into your ear drumz!" Wernher explained, with a half-serious look on his face. He walked over to the fairing, and opened a little hatch in it, revealing the Lander Can's, Malcolms residence for the next few days hatch. "In vous go!" Wernher opened the hatch and pushed Malcolm in. "Bit more cramped than I expected." "Vell, it must do, see vous later!" Wernher closed the hatch, and then the hatch in the fairing, then held onto the side of the crane whilst it brung it's ladder back up and went back into the VAB. "This is Malcolm to mission control, I'm ready." "Roger that Malcolm, ignition in T- 60 seconds." "Roger that Mission Control, begin the checklist." "Comms?" "Check." "Flight computer?" "Check." "Navball?" "Check." "Stability assist?" "Check." "Countdown?" "Starting now." "T- 10 seconds." "Nine seconds." "Eight seconds." "Seven seconds." "Lets do this! I'm goin' to space!" "Five seconds." "Four seconds." "Three-" "IGNITION" The noise was so loud that Malcolm couldn't hear the countdown, he had to finish the countdown off in his head. "LIFTOFF" The boosters shot the rocket up into the sky, although the rocket was noticably slower than the Sharkman Launch Sloth 1, it was still very fast, the SLS 3 was designed to outclass the SLS 1 in most ways, including moar DV, moar Boosters, moar size and moar payload. After about twenty seconds of roaring, deafening sound, the boosters shot away with the speed of 'Adams' rocket. The sound was now noticably less, but Malcolm was still in pain from the boosters drilling into his eardrums. But soon enough, his apoapsis was at one-hundred kilometers, and the fairing was jettisoned. Quickly after, they were onto raising the periapsis and making the orbit stable, and almost all of this was done by the launch stage, and the last tiny bit was done by the circularization stage. (seems to be a running thing with this series, circularization stages being mostly useless.) Boom! Orbit, though rather eccentric, the Periapsis was at ~90 kilometers, and Malcolm needed to make this a circular, ~100kmX~100km orbit, menuevre plotted at apoapsis, will raise periapsis to 104km. "Comms back on, you should be in space now, I don't hear any boosters, so hopefully you ARE in space, 'cause there's no abort function on this." Gene's voice suddenly echoed through the cramped Lander can, startling Malcolm. "Roger, Mission Control, as you should see on your monitor, I'm on an eccentric orbit and have a manuevre plotted to get the periapsis in the right spot, burn in about nineteen minuted." Malcolm explained. "Roger, seems good, hope you like the thing you packed." "Wait, what did I pa-" Malcolm was interrupted by liquid splashing into his face in Zero-G. "You asked for a Martini, shaken, not stirred, and on the rocks, now it's on your face." Gene smirked, although nobody could see if because there was no facecam in the lander can and everyone in Mission Control was either fast asleep or just dozing off. "Copy that Mission Control, I have new orders to tell you something, good game, Gene, good game." "Heh, I have a humor, too, now slurp up that lovely Zero-G martini and do your spacewalk." "*Slurp* Space *Burp* walk? What spacewalk? Why?" "Beauty shots, thats why." "Opening the hatch now, EVA suit on, woo-hoo! Here we go!" "Bit dark, that pic, nothing we can do about it, though, nice one, this'll be good in the Daily Kerbin!" "Thanks, can't talk now though, gotta focus on the manuevre, only twenty-one m/s DV, though, 10, 9...... Burning!" "Finished burn, plotted new manuevre at Periapsis to raise Apoapsis to one-hundred and ten kilometers, Periapsis is now one-hundred and four Kilometers, I'm gonna take a nap, wake me up at the burn..." "Roger that, Malcolm, catch up on that sleep we've took away from you." ---------------------------------------------------- DING DING DING DING "Pointed retrograde, burning in three, two, one..." "221 m/s, 100m/s, 50 m/s, 10m/s" "Burn finished, 3.2 m/s DV left, Apoapsis around one-hundred and eight kilometers, Periapsis one-hundred and three kilometers, all traces of martini slurped, Mission accomplished!" ------------------------------------------------------- Both parts of Part 3 done, hope you like this series so far! And for goodness sake vote on the poll for your favourite character! Next part is focused on station building, will be using MJ. (I can't rendezvous at all, never done it successfully.) Have a nice day!

EMOP K502, modelled after a toy plane I own. Release Thread -
So, I have this plane toy a mess around with alot, and it's basically a generic looking bomber, but curiously, it has wheels instead of back landing gear, and I couldn't find any mention of it's name on the internet, and I made it in game, It uses TweakScale, BDArmoury and Kerbal Aircraft Expansion for the propellor. It utilizes a pair of two mk82 SnakeEye bombs, and another pair of two plain mk82 bombs, the 0 key drops the snake-eyes and the 9 key drops the mk82's, it flies okay, but sometimes the propellor collides with the ground before takeoff and snaps off (though I believe I have fixed this) and it even flew okay when I forgot symmetry and only had elevons on one side! Coming soon to the SAP-C Page! (In Rocket Builders) Where you can find multiple beautiful and fearsome Military craft, and like, 2 rubbish non-military craft. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/130374-SSI-ASAIB-PB-Conglomerate-Looking-for-anyone-to-join! [/shameless plug] Here's the beaut! Thar she blows! And download link. Have a nice flight! I hope you enjoy it!
