@kspnerd122 The whole mod is scaled to be 1/10 th real life distances and sizes. If that's far ... imagine the real thing. The issue with putting things closer is that you get 45 stars with intersecting soi's and a lot of bugs.

Join the discord and you'll see what's in store for GU. This is a ridiculous conversation about KSS. I ended dev of this mod over a year ago ... There's just no reason to dig it up again. Also this is the GU thread and I'd like to keep it this way. If you have questions about kss, DM me.

There is no reason to remake kss with different names because that's basically GU. My next update of GU will crush KSS in every way.

So you're going to do my work? Because i'm remaking a lot of concepts for GU. Sorry i can not give permission because i'm reusing a lot of kss content in GU. The license of kss also forbids to make derivations from it. FOR THE LAST TIME: I do NOT give permission to derive any content from KSS, revive it, trying to maintain it etc ... KSS remains dead and burried. If you want your own galaxy inspired mod ... go ahead, but make it with your own original ideas.

sure you can. That's why everything's optional. You just can't switch mid game because just as with every other mod. It will break your running missions.

@jebalicious However the upcoming optional homeswitch (if you choose to use it) will break the stocksystem and its saves.

GU just adds content and not yet changes the homesystem. Normally nothing will be broken by adding GU.

a little more explanation. '*' basically means i'm making a full planetsystem - very detailed etc. '-' means there will be at least 1 object around it. This could be a planet but also an asteroid. These are less 'detailed' (they'll be be still have good textures), but there will be less attention to sciencedefs, statics, things that take some time
