Zerto needs a remake indeed, it's also not working properly in the current version, but I stopped updating this mod as it became less and less known. Now that this is no longer the case, I'll be remaking Zerto entirely. I can make biome maps myself, but thanks a lot for offering. Science Defs and resource tweaks are a welcome contribution however, I'll let you know in a PM when I've remade the biomes. I'll be remaking the biomes entirely following @CaptRobau's example, no more boring 'highlands' biomes. -

Uuh... not in the next update, but I'll take a look at it. Speaking of the next update, I've finally let my PC download the recentmost KSP. Currently installing Kopernicus, MFI, EVE and Arkas of course to test if everything works properly. This update will include: 1.2 changes { Temperature variations created by eccentricity Seasonal temperature variations Temperature changes based off latitude Temperature changes based off time of day Internal mod indexing (just compatibility stuff) 1.2 compatibility of course ;) } Much thanks goes to @OhioBob for teaching me how all of those atmosphere curves work. -

I can help with that. @Kopernicus:AFTER[OPM] { @Body[Sarnus] { @Orbit { %semiMajorAxis = X } } @Body[Urlum] { @Orbit { %semiMajorAxis = X } } @Body[Neidon] { @Orbit { %semiMajorAxis = X } } @Body[Plock] { @Orbit { %semiMajorAxis = X } } } Paste this in a config file in any folder, as long as the folder is inside your GameData folder. The semi major axis of a planet is basically the average distance at which it orbits it's star. I recommend installing Hyperedit and OPM: 1. Open Hyperedit and select an OPM planet. 2. Go to 'graphical' and mess with the semi major axis slider. 3. When you're happy with the new orbit, go to 'complex' and copy the value in the semi major axis field. 4. In the config file, paste in the value. 5. PROFIT

No. I've already fixed it by setting VHeightMax to zero and adding VertexSimplexNoiseColor to fill in the now uncolored terrain. Still, I'm really starting to hate LandControl, the stupid overcomplicated son-of-a-proton keeps throwing a wrench into my plans, I've discovered the same bug on a Tylo edit this time, also where I removed LandControl first. -

I'm going to have to ask for a little help myself. Stupid LandControl mod is doing this to my planet: And I have NO idea what's causing it. And here's the culprit: Disabling LandControl -> no problem, enabling LandControl -> stupid black outlines on everything. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong with this overcomplicated problem-maker? -

Hmm... try changing it to AFTER[OPM] indeed, that should force it to be loaded after OPM. Actually, try AFTER[OPM]:NEEDS[OPM] to ensure both loading order and dependencies are in place. -

@SmashingKirby148 Are you sure it loads after OPM itself? Could be that it simply can't find 'Sarnus' yet. Also, what do you mean by "it keeps Eeloo in orbit around Sarnus, with it's new texture from Sarnus, BUT remains the orbit I gave it for Jool." Is it around Sarnus or Jool? And what exactly are you trying to accomplish? -

I'm a hobbyist digital artist myself, trust me, I can make a few nice banners for this pack real quick. Problem is, I have no idea how to add them to signatures and stuff. I changed Dres because of all the 'boringness' people were giving it - because of it's 'genericness' Dres is often forgotten, and I wanted to change that. Plus, like I said, uniqueness: there are countless packs that add planets to the outer solar system, but nearly none that add any planets between Duna and Jool, thus I chose that as Cyran's orbit. I also wanted Dres to be a terraformed, Laythe-like world first, only to realize that adding an atmosphere to an atmosphere-less stock planet isn't possible, so I obtained Dres' texture and just added a new moon to take that position, and Iltan was born. I was then left with two versions of Dres, thus I changed the original Dres. It's easily undone though. -
@OhioBob If I may ask, where is the surface gravity used in the equation, and is there a way to find a realistic maximum atmosphere altitude for my planet, or does that come down to a good guess?

Thanks! You know, that's the whole purpose behind Cyran, to provide something unique and challenging. It's a shame that, despite the amount of effort I put into my stuff, my work is often overlooked. I was actually wondering if I should even bother updating this pack any more considering only very few people know of it's existence. Seeing your comment though, I've made my descision and will be pushing out an update to this mod very soon for 1.2 compatibility. Thank you for your kind words, you really made my day! -

Excuse me for this, but I'm going to voice my concern for the Kopernicus Creativity Marathon. It's been deadly silent there for months, I actually wonder if it's still being worked on. I already asked over there two weeks ago, but it seems as if the poor thread has been cast into oblivion. Therefore my question, is the KCM still alive? It'd be a shame to see such a creative idea go to waste. -

Not anymore. I am developing a new planet pack, one in which every new planet makes use of all of the curves and, if possible obey the ideal gas law. (What I mean by 'if possible' is that playability comes first, then realism)
