  1. With Dropbox keeping me up-to-date with the latest version, I am almost sure I can get all EVE functions to work before Christmas. You just keep working on fixing the issues while I'll get the clouds to work. There are a few things I must ask and point out, however: - Has Keelon's atmosphere been fixed? - The config filepaths now use 'KerbalOrigins' instead of 'KerbolPlus', though the files are still located in the 'KerbolPlus' directory.
  2. The clouds seem to work as advertised, so when it comes to EVE support I'm almost done. Also, I'm still waiting on Dropbox. I've got my account set up and everything... Anyhow, should I balance the gravity and fix Keelon's atmosphere?
  3. Check the output_log, it could simply be that your system has run out of memory and forces KSP to close instead of a crash. In that case, I advise you to install Active Texture Management and try again.
  4. Oh my Kod! The sun is practically in your face! My goodness, the Kerbal you sent is being fried! As cool as it is to be so close to Kerbol (cool? poor choice of words, TWG...), it is quite unrealistic: the sheer heat would melt the comet immediatly. Still, it looks amazing!
  5. You can use K+ together with KG2, though it is not recommended. I can explain how to make the two compatible though: 1. K+ planets orbiting the black hole Solution: open the configs of the K+ planets, scroll to the orbital properties and set the parentbody to 'Kerbol', or whatever the stock sun is named in KG2. Remember: ONLY the K+ (dwarf)planets that are orbiting the black hole, don't touch the moons! 2. Eeloo vanishing Solution: this is simply because KG2 has a config that places Eeloo around the new stock Sun, while K+ also has a config that moves Eeloo. In the K+ configs, delete Eeloo.cfg and it should show up. The problem is that Kopernicus gets the following information (not literally, this is merely a highly simplified version): KG2: Kopernicus, place Eeloo around a new stock sun called 'Kerbol' K+: Kopernicus, place Eeloo around a new planet named 'Sarvin' Since Kopernicus can't move Eeloo to orbit both Kerbol and Sarvin, it errors when trying to place Eeloo and therefor Eeloo can't be loaded and disappears entirely. Hope this helps, TWG
  6. The three diffrent configs are indeed named 'low' 'medium' and 'high', but they have nothing to do with the texture resolution, it has to do with the cloud density. Why CKAN is confusing them with AVP? I honestly have no idea. I did use AVP as study though.
  7. If your ship is already in Neidon's SOI, then I don't think it will. In your save file your craft is simply stated as 'orbiting Neidon'. However, it might move the moons relative to Neidon or the planet itself (and the craft with it) relative to the sun, so I'd make a backup if I were you.
  8. Personally, I'm using Astronomer's Visual Pack: Edge of Oblivion in combination with OPM's procedural gas giants config for Jool, and everything works fine. Also, I'm creating a custom EVE config and custom EVE textures for OPM, and so far they work fine with Procedural gas giants.
  9. Amarius1, in the next update of Kerbol+, could you please rebalance the gravity? Take Ganag for example: in the current version, it's way smaller than Kerbin, and still it has 1.1G, which is way too much to be realistic. Some of the other moons/(dwarf)planets with (slightly) unbalanced gravity are Corolet, Kralaus, Harvest and Pergas.
  10. Hey, hey, don't be so hard on yourself! If you really want to make a planet, all you need is a color, height and normal map. The config? If that part is too hard, copy a config from another Kopernicus mod and edit it. - - - Updated - - - Ah, I see. Well, in that case, I'll "gift" the two textures I made to the community. However, since the 'detail1' texture is borrowed from Astronomer's Visual Pack, that does ask for a proper disclaimer... I'll just rename the texture file to 'detail1_borrowed_from_Astronomers_Visual_Pack_Edge_Of_Oblivion'.
  11. Whenever I use this mod's higher timewarp feature, my ship breaks and/or crashes when coming out of warp. This might be something worth looking into, because it makes the game quite unplayable.
  12. Uuh... I've been working on my own planet pack for about a year now... and one of the moons it adds is also named Kryo. This would make the two mods incompatible, and sadly, I cannot change the name: that'd mean having to change the science, Kopernicus configs, planetshine configs, DOE configs and EVE configs. Ergo: ages of work. Could you please choose a diffrent name if it isn't too much trouble? Otherwise it'd lead to severe compatibility issues.
  13. That's exactly what Faz looks like when I try to land on it, so there is indeed an error in Faz' config file. Faz currently does look quite interesting though... it's a mystery...
  14. So far I've got some good results. Here's what I've added so far: - Atmospheric glow on Asclepius - Glow on Kruel - First steps towards clouds - First steps towards some epic special effects. Special effects: - Thunderstorms - Clouds light up on the nightside for an epic SSTO experience - While flying through Asclepius' canyons, you may sometimes find yourself flying into a wall of fog About the license: License: The texture 'CloudsAsc' belongs to MrChumley (it came with the mod so I assume it's a texture you made) The texture 'detail1' is from Astronomer's Visual Pack: Edge of Oblivion and is used and included with the author's allowance (read the license of AVP: Edge of Oblivion) The textures 'AscGlow' and 'AscMist' are ownership of 'The White Guardian'. Feel free to use these textures wherever and whenever you like, though let 'The White Guardian' know first before uploading anything that includes his texturework. 'The White Guardian' has the right to disallow the usage of any of his textures. However, unless ownership of his texturework is claimed 'The White Guardian' will often allow the usage of his texturework as long as the proper disclaimers are in place. This cloudpack is made specifically for 'Asclepius - A Kopernicus planet - SSTO playground'. Therefor bundling this pack with Asclepius is allowed and even advised. In fact, bundling this with any of MrChumley(the author of Asclepius)'s mods is allowed. Thank you for reading, and please have fun! - The White Guardian As you can see, I must write a custom license to give proper credit to the authors of some textures. I have, however, added that the cloudpack is allowed to be bundled with any of your mods at any time.
  15. I haven't seen any tail so far, Kittopia or Kopernicus. Also, Faz is a mess in the current version. Totally flat, brown-ish terrain at 0m altitude. I haven't checked the other locations yet.
  16. Alright, sneak peek time! Though this sneak peek will show the Work-In-Progress EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements clouds/effects. Please know that this is still a heavy Work-In-Progress, though we're making progress, people! A (hopefully) enlargened version of the lightning:
  17. Again, I cannot send you private messages due to your inbox being full. I advise you to delete at least ten old messages, or else this problem will re-appear in no-time.
  18. As amazing as this mod is, I keep having issues with E.V.E: the clouds won't show up. If it's fine with you, can I write a config for it? I'll also add a nice atmospheric glow if you'd like.
  19. Dude, that pressure calculator is just genius! Oh, and another exciting announcement: I'm preparing to make a video of this mod for the OP...
