  1. Agreed... I still get a good chuckle thinking about the chicken and the goat.... lmao.... Oh, wait... wrong series...
  2. I'm not going to be able to go up north, but we should still get 60-70% or so... so my plans right now are just hoping for decent enough weather to see it from here.
  3. I can't speak for @SQUAD directly, but if it's just the gamedata folder without the squad folder, then it's just mods, and those are free.... I don't see how that's illegal. Again, I'm not a @SQUAD representative, but myself, I think it's OK to share under those circumstances.
  4. OK, the screenshots for the next chapter are finally done and uploaded to Imgur.... and there are a lot in this batch, so this is looking to be a really nice, long, fun chapter. All I'm gonna say is I promised y'all something a little different... and yeah... this is definitely different.... lol. So I've been at this almost non-stop for... I'm not even sure... 3-4 days I think.... I'm taking the afternoon off. I'll write this up tomorrow morning.
  5. OMG... the kids are the best part!!! That was fun!!!
  6. I didn't know they made these, but I definitely agree!!!
  7. It's been a long time, and honestly I can't remember exactly what the questions where. But I'm a bit of a brainiac and a nerd, and I didn't think they were that terribly hard. As for stressful, yeah... but only before I got there... I was driven to a different high school than my own by an Army recruiter, who was fantastic as talking my stress level down, and not letting it get to me. Once I was in and sitting down, it wasn't bad at all, in fact I couldn't have asked for better... I don't know how they do it nowadays, but back then I was in an empty class room the whole time! Not a soul to bother or distract me. And thinking back I believe there were a couple timed tests... but for the most part I had way more than enough time to complete a portion, and got to relax and take a breather before the next part. The biggest thing I remember is it's really long... so the night before don't try and cram for the test... just try and relax and get a good nights sleep! And no matter how many butterflies you may have that morning, make sure to eat a good breakfast if possible.
  8. Take your time, we understand. And just for the record, it took me over 3 days to re-format mine... You add a link with the button that looks like a paperclip. That will open a window to paste your link into, as well as giving it a name, if you like. It's fairly straight forward.
  9. Hmmmmm.... interesting. I'm not sure where I stand on this yet.... it would be dangerous to the kid, for sure. That part is obvious. But no more or less dangerous than it is for an adult. However, if we're really going to build colonies and stations some day, then are all the children going to be born in space? Not likely. So I suppose sending kids into orbit, and then perhaps further, has to start somewhere. And granted, while I agree with the article this would be mostly a publicity thing... it's a really brilliant one. What better way to inspire the younger generation(s) around the world to want to be astronauts again? But if it goes bad... then the opposite happens... I don't know.... all I can say is if he does go, then I will be watching, and I wish him and the rest of the crew the very best.
  10. I'm going to expand on this a little... even though I'm a metal head myself. I also see this happen a lot, on both sides, and I don't get it either. Why waste your time preaching to people who obviously want to listen to something else? If you don't like a song, why spend two hours starting a flame war in the comment section??? Just change the station!!!

    Movie Ideas

So it's basically a Lovecraft story? I'm in!
  12. OK, this is going to sound a little weird, but the last thing I googled was a couple weeks ago.... an article about a 6th dynasty Egyptian super-BadS Pharaoh, who's name I cannot say at this time (Emiko spoilers...) All I can say is the zombies never stood a chance....
  13. General Educational Development or General Equivalency Diploma (the old name)... I have one. It's usually what one gets if they don't finish High-school but want and/or need a diploma. In my case I quit HS early 11th grade (Long, sad story...) went and got my GED, and immediately joined the Army. Then a few decades later I went back to school and earned two associates degrees. @Spaceception, don't panic. Mine wasn't nearly as bad as I feared going into it, and I had a ton of time to do it. Now granted, this was 1980, but I doubt they've changed that much.
  14. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do. I'm half done sorting them out now.
  15. No apology needed. In my case, it's not a problem of the challenge being too hard or time consuming... My problem is Emiko is too time consuming. It's been 3 weeks since my last chapter, so I really need to get at least one new one finished and posted in the next couple days. But this is only the first week for the challenge, correct? If I can get my chapter done by this weekend, I'm definitely going to take a day off and take a shot at this.
  16. OK... cool. Real life has been giving me a bit of a hard time today, but the screenshots for the next chapter are finally finished... and gorgeous!!! But now I'm torn... I said I would do the next two chapters back to back... but now that this batch is done, and they came out so good, I find I don't want to wait a few more days to do the next chapter's screenshots... I really just want to write this one up now.
  17. It can be a little time consuming, but not terribly hard. What I did with Emiko Station was to take my first chapter, which was the OP at first, and copied it into my next available post. I already see your second post is a picture... makes it all the easier. Once I copied and pasted the first chapter into a different post, I changed my OP into a title page of sorts, and a list of all the chapters, with links to each. This is what takes a little time. I had to go to each chapter post individually and get the link to put into the index. I also tweaked the chapters a little to make them all work. Again, took a little time, but it's so worth the effort! Now neither my readers or I have to scroll through pages of comments to find whatever chapter they might be on. They can just go to the OP and click wherever they left off, and not have to hunt for it. And I love it whenever I have to go double check something I wrote a year ago and can't quite remember the exact details. Here's the link to my OP and chapter list... feel free to use it as an example, or copy it outright... I think it would work really well for you if you want to make a chapter system for this.
