  1. Very true, competition encourages innovation ... I just have the total impression that it is KSP reskinned and there is a bunch of CC BY SA licensed KSP mods incorporated into it
  2. Steam users beware ... All KSP users should report this game as it is a clear ripoff of KSP Looks like a reskinned KSP with a bunch of KSP mods incorporated into it @SQUAD @Darth Badie - I'm not sure but it looks like there is some copyright infringement going on here ... especially considering that the video page clearly references KSP as the game in the video and it is in Alpha/early access on Steam EDIT: another video of the game
  3. This mod is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 which means the person who has posted it is in violation of the license as it is not allowed for anyone to change the license to MIT which appears to be the case I suggest contacting @VITAS and see if something can be done to have that mod removed from spacedock
  4. DCK v0.3.9.0 Pre-release is available for download: - DCK Active Camouflage System added (DCK_ACS) - Active Camo engaged by BDAc Guard Mode if missile lock while auto cloak is enabled - New models for YCSM modules - Other minor tweaks Still a work in progress and is intended for the BDAc v1.1 Beta ... If not using the BDAc v1.1 Beta do not install this <LINK REMOVED>
  5. A little taste of what is cooking in the DCK kitchen .... Active Camo System controlled by BDAc Guard mode ------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's clearly explained in the OP of this thread how to install DCK and it's add ons, however since nobody reads instructions anymore I will post it here:
  6. Link is in the OP of the BDAc thread in the BDAc Mod Family links spoiler
  7. To add to @harpwner's comment above, DO NOT download BDAc from ckan, instead only download from reputable sources such as those located in the OP of the BDAc thread If yoyr intention is to use the BDAc beta, download it from the link in the BDAc beta thread If you download from anywhere else the mod is suspect as it means we (the BDAc team) haven't put it there so all bets are off
  8. Here is a taste of what your parts have become ... Will be in the next DCK update along with Active Camouflage (goes great with DCK Shields) May still change the color of the ring on the ACS module but they look pretty shnazzy to me
  9. These are awesome ... Fantastic, thanx I'm sure I will be able to import them into unity, I have one of the best teachers around to show me how and I kinda already have an idea as to how to go about it As for the part touch up I say just leave it, these models look awesome just the way they are ... Only thing I may do is change the color scheme to orange lettering on a black base for the stock texture and then do up the additional 42 textures for DCK Have I mentioned that I think these are awesome ... Thanx again
  10. If you read the installation instruction for the mods you are installing you wouldn't have that problem ... contrary to popular belief, reading instructions are normally the best way to find out what a mod does and how to install it One of the biggest pains in the proverbial rear is users of mods not even reading the instruction manual ... This is also a problem that that ckan creates - by not having read any instructions or what the mod does users can just click on a mod and download it, often with no idea what it does which leads them to the respective thread for said mod complaining that the mod doesn't work or their game is borked where as in most cases if they read the instructions there would be no issue
  11. lol https://github.com/DoctorDavinci/DCK/blob/master/DCKinc_Plugin/GUI/DCKPaintshop.cs
  12. DCK won't fix the issue ... There is a snippet of code in Paintshop that fixes it for Paintshop, nothing more If you want a fix for the problem then you would need to write code that addresses the problem ... probably some sort of monobehaviour deal I would think but it needs to hook into the tweakable settings whereas the code in DCK addresses DCK and nothing else
  13. I believe that is exactly what is causing your problem then ... if you change the root of your craft the symmetry will reset itself to that part which will bork your symmetrically placed part tweakables if you change the root to one of the symmetrically placed parts I had the same sort of issue with DCK Paintshop and the texturing of all parts on a craft at once in the SPH ... the texture switching would get screwed up if a user switched the root of the craft to a symmetrically placed part and I think you are experiencing the exact same thing ... A fix was put into the DCK Paintshop code but not sure of any stock means of fixing the issue
  14. That works ... I can always do any fine tuning of the size in the part config
  15. I like it ... that would do nicely for the YCSM modules Awesomesauce
  16. Question .... are you changing the root of your craft before this happens?
  17. @SpannerMonkey(smce) - would you mind giving this lad the lowdown? Well for the YCSM modules something simple like a blister that you place on the craft ... nothing fancy, just a part that will meld with the majority of parts think of the average aircraft and add a symmetrical oval ... 2 to 1 ratio on the with and length then have it raised up from the bottom plane about 15 to 20 % of the width of the part (I guess a 2 to 1 to 0.15 ratio if you get what I mean) nothing complicated like the flux capacitor you made ... I can work with you on the texturing and there are many others from round these parts that will be happy to lend a hand
  18. Don't encourage a person who has clearly stated that he has pirated his copy of KSP ... Support the developers, not the ones who want to steal from them
  19. So I love it ... Although I would prefer to use it for the DCK Active Camouflage system (essentially the Cloaking Device mod) which will be in the next DCK release (the next DCK will be released after the BDAc v1.1 beta goes full release) I definitely like the tangent you are going on
  20. As far as I know the BDAc team has no intention of adding more missile types as there are mods for that It was decided awhile back that BDAc would be a base for other modders to build off of Perhaps making a request to one of the many weapon system modders out there might get you what you are looking for ... Or you could create your own mod
  21. Still waiting on your logs ... KSP.log and output.log? Explaining what is happening does very little to help us acertain what is causing the issue Please run a game and upload logs from a session that this occurs ... if you need clarification on what we need in order to squash this gremlin then please read the OP of this thread where it is clearly explained what we need from you in order to get to the bottom of this issue No offense intended but it becomes tedious when people demand information or demand that something be fixed when the person complaining hasn't even had the courtesy to read the instruction manual DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion and does not necessarily mean that the rest of the BDAc team feel this way
  22. @David24 - it literally takes about 30 seconds to install BDAc if you follow the instructions on the tin Please note that ckan has problems with keeping track of mod versions which can cause mods to not work as advertised if the version of the mod is out of whack with the KSP version you are using Also understand that most mod installation problems are caused by improper installation of said mod which is easily fixed if you follow the installation instructions
