  1. Thanks, credit will go where it is due I plan to incorporate your cloak code into DCK and adapt it to work directly in conjunction with BDAc ... The team has had discussions around cloaking tech in the past and it should be a fairly simple adaptation to have the two work together
  2. Not a problem Took a look and the only issue I see is that the Aeris3A doesn't have a weapon manager attached ... My question is did you attach the Weapon Manager part to the craft? In order for you to be able to use any weapons you will require a Weapon Manager part to be attached to the craft ... If you have trouble finding it you can click the tag at the top of the parts list that says 'Mass' which will order the parts list by the mass instead of name ... it will then be the 5th or 6th part in the list Since you have stated that you are new to BDAc, perhaps taking a look at our BDPedia (KSPedia) ingame will help ... you will find a wealth of information on the operation of BDAc in there If you have further problems or still require assistance then feel free to ask in our thread and the team will be happy to assist you (link below) If you are still having problems after my suggestions above then feel free to contact the team on our thread
  3. This will in all likelihood not be implemented in BDAc as there are mods out there that provide other types of radar If there are no mods that provide what you are looking for might I suggest making one of your own to provide this part ... As my friend above alluded to, it was decided by the BDAc team quite awhile ago that BDAc is intended as a backbone for other modders to build their weapon/tactical mods around If you require a part which is not provided by BDAc or other BDAc add-ons, might I suggest you create one of your own to fill this gap in parts ... Here's the link to our Wiki where it has developer notes that lay out how to set things up: https://github.com/PapaJoesSoup/BDArmory/wiki Also, there is a mod out there that has a size 0 radar: Repeatedly stating that you want a size 0 radar isn't going to motivate us to make one when we've already decided long ago that there won't be any new parts added to BDAc unless (to quote my friend above) .... "If we come up with something new, a demo item will be included as a modders ref, but that's it." This has been mentioned a few times in response to your repeated request .... As I stated above, this will in all likelihood not happen as there are mods out there that provide this functionality already There is already a mod that is out there that provides this
  4. KSP.log please You will find the KSP.log in your main KSP directory ... upload this to a file sharing site such as Dropbox and post the link to it here Ping me when you do so I know that you uploaded it and I'll take a look ... there are really only 2 causes of this issue, either you have installed the wrong version of BDAc for your KSP version or you have not installed correctly (likely the first as it appears you installed correctly) Get me the KSP.log and I will be able to solve this issue for you (or at least tell you what is up)
  5. Drop everything in the zip you downloaded into your gamedata folder Open the zip, open the gamedata folder inside the zip, highlight the 2 directories and the modulemanager.dll and copy them to your KSP gamedata, profit
  6. I'm actually shocked that this is a question that needs to be asked ... The BDAc team took over the management of BDA in the early summer of 2016 and has made many improvements such as the radar system, not to mention refactoring the whole of the BDAc code There have been many improvements since the team formed with many more on the way
  7. This is why you use small hardpoints or structural pylons which do the same job and look much sleeker IMO
  8. By installing DCK I would suspect ... Here's a link to the latest version of DCK - I added some Halo bubble shields and some covenant oval/round shields to go with the transparent/invisible aircraft armor: https://github.com/DoctorDavinci/DCK/releases/download/v0.3.0.0/DCK.v0.3.0.0.-.Get.Behind.Me.update.zip Download the Get Behind Me update, open the gamedata directory in the zip and copy DCKinc into your KSP gamedata but be sure to delete any previous versions before doing so ... There are 3 other directories in there which contain the mm patch and textures for the corresponding mod named in the directory name - drop these into your gamedata to utilize DCK with these mods For more in depth instructions if you are having issues, go to the DCK thread and read the OP ... If still having problems then post in the thread and I'll do my best to help you
  9. @wasml It would be interesting to see if we could get your cloaking device working in tandem with BDAc and the radar system that was recently implemented It goes along perfectly with the shield system in DCK too .... If you are up to working on BDAc compatibility let me know as the subject has been brought up before and I'm confident we could make it work
  10. Something about a servo controller ... Do you perhaps have an mm config that adds that IR module to parts?
  11. The Null error is most likely coming from one of the mods you have installed ... In order to find out exactly what is happening you will need to upload your KSP.log to a file sharing site and post the link here so that I or someone else who is willing can look in the log and see what is causing the issue (KSP.log can be found in your KSP directory) As for saves .... Even if you haven't saved, the game does do the occasional autosave and you will find the last 5 autosaves in the Backup directory ... [your KSP directory]/Saves/[whatever your game was named]/Backup Hope this helps
  12. To add to what @sebi.zzr said above, you can look in the KSPedia where you will find a wealth of information on the operation of BDAc
  13. And that is not what happened in this case (as well as others .. Frybert incident for example) ... Post is gone with no explanation I have taken this to PM with a member of your moderation team and hopefully this situation can be resolved in a cordial manner without myself being censored (or others for that matter) on the subject of moderator censorship Thanx for clearing up the 'rules of engagement' that the moderation team is supposed to follow ... unfortunately it appears those rules were ignored in this case as well as others with other members (of which there are a few) ... Either that or there is a gremlin in your forum software that is selectively deleting posts from certain members which we have seen in the past Again, thanx for clarification and the work that you guys do
  14. Yet they are causing problems ... Look in your KSP.log with notepad or some other text editor and search for ERR (ctrl F and put ERR into it) and take a look You will find Remote Tech causing a couple and contract configurator dropping ERR's throughout the log ... This is part of your problem My suggestion is to talk to the CKAN guys as CKAN can be a bit unreliable at times (actually a fair bit of the time, but I digress) There is also an issue with KSP v1.3.1 where it will start to slow down considerably after a little while playing when using mods (doesn't happen for everyone but it does happen ... BDAc for instance runs slower in 1.3.1 than in 1.3)
  15. Contract Configurator and Remote Tech appear to be at least part of the problem CC is throwing exceptions left, right and center and Remote Tech is throwing a couple itself .... are you sure you installed the correct version for your KSP version
  16. KSP.log would be more valuable at this point ... you will find it in your main KSP directory It gets overwritten each time you start the game so be sure to upload it from after a game that is showing these symptoms Best practice would be to uoad it to dropbox or some other similar file sharing site ... if you post it directly into the forum (copy/paste) it will be difficult to sift through and could end up truncated (missing the latter part of the text due to the forum software having a limit on the number of characters you can put into a post) Link the KSP.log, ping me when you do and I'll take a look
  17. Is there a reason why some posts made by users of the forum are just being deleted (I assume by moderators) or is there a censorship sort of deal going on?
  18. Here's a link to a 1.3.0 compatible version that apparently works just fine in KSP v1.3.1 ... install as usual and go blow some stuff up As for your CKAN issue, take it to the CKAN thread as they won't see it if you post an issue about their mod in the BDAc thread and we have nothing to do with CKAN and it's operation... here's the link:
  19. That is where you would be wrong ... you have numerous errors being thrown by various mods, a dozen or so miniavc's throwing version file errors and an overall messy install ... It appears you may need to revisit installing your mods Check your mods to be sure they have been updated for KSP 1.3.1 as not all mods have been updated (yes, contrary to popular belief many mods will need a recompile) I'm going off what your logs are saying so even though you may know what you are doing the logs say that you made a mistake somewhere ... whether by installing incorrectly or installing mods that aren't 1.3.1 compatible
  20. - Procedural Missiles is a part of BDAc - Install Procedural Parts to use the Procedural Missiles - If you don't install Procedural Parts then you will be unable to build Procedural Missiles Not sure how much clearer a person can be
  21. My suggestion is to take a look at the following thread where you will learn how to help us help you
