I went outside to test the pressure.

Yeah, if you're not keeping really attentive during a lucid dream it's easy for it to turn back into a regular dream. What I've found is that if you really get into the dream and don't focus too much on "holy Kraken I'm dreaming and I know it" you can stick around for a while.

You know, both of those will be excellent things to have on long space missions, as both last a long time in storage and tea is low mass and easy to prepare, requiring only water. I can see it now: a pair of Mars colonists sitting at a table chatting in the evening, looking out the window, sipping tea with honey and munching on roasted crickets. /tan(90)

The Shuttle played a big part in me deciding to become an astronaut as a young child, so I'll give it that. Now I have fancy LCD monitors, badS spacesuits, and mood lighting to look forward to in the spaceships I will probably fly.

As a composer, I really, really like the score during Luke's confrontation with Kylo Ren. Sometimes even a single eighth note can make all the difference.

That article says that the facility will be ready for vehicle tests in that timeframe, not that BFR will be ready to be tested. Personally I'm skeptical that the first BFR can be built that quickly. Could someone who knows a bit more than me about how long it takes to build a rocket chime in?

Lock...and key...

Last night I dreamt that there was an evil box of cornflakes in my pantry that was going to try to kill my family, so we needed to find a way to destroy it. Simply getting rid of it would not do, because cornflakes are too powerful game would find a way back. I had the idea that we should dissolve them to the molecular level in water, dilute them into many gallons, and spread the water over a large area to kill them.

I'll definitely post it in the SpaceX thread when it's done. Right now I'm working on a basic outline of the piece in Sunvox, so that I can get it done more efficiently after launch.

This afternoon I had the revelation that since the Falcon Heavy theme will have three sharps, I should drop two at booster separation.

Some good footage and audio of the static fire would help me writing the theme.
