I rarely get a contract to go to a planet until immediately after I go there myself. I might land on the Mun and come back to five contracts asking me to do the exact things I just did. That's not how it should work. If I go to Duna, I should get contracts for Jool, Eve, and the other planets, instead of the current system which seems to believe the first place I visit is where the space program will be focused for eternity.

Yes, he definitely does. I think even if SpaceX doesn't get humans on Mars, their work will definitely be a huge leap in our progress towards getting there.

I have been considering building the instrument that the blue and red guys play in Starship Groove, and jokingly asked a friend yesterday where I could get a dozen pairs of Donkey Kong bongos for the buttons. Unfortunately, I forgot I have a birthday party coming up. Sometime last night he sent me a text, "there's 34 used on Amazon and guess how many are your present". I've made it clear that I don't want to have to trash the whole set of bongos just for the buttons, and I really want plain hardware store buttons, but of course now he refuses to tell me whether or not he actually ordered all those bongos and I won't find out until Saturday!
