In physics, a 0D object that has mass would be a black hole, size entirely dependent on how much mass you give it. In math, math doesn't care and it's just a point.

Might send a space station to Jool, idk

I am coming back tomorrow to the US...I bet it is going to feel really weird with all the changes in the one week I was gone. I'll probably go and play a fitting game like Half Life 2 or something

In fact, if you have pancrea you might even have more! It has the opposite effect on some words. -
Martian Base Landing Site Tradeoffs
cubinator replied to Mars-Bound Hokie's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Nilokeras Scopulus is a good bet scientifically. It's a cliff on the north edge of the Kasei Valles floodplain, and there's a spot that's sort of terraced where you could drive a rover up to the top of the cliff and discover the geologic situation of what happened there. I think that trip is about a 40 km drive.- 4 replies

I dreamt that in the finale of Star Wars 9, Rick and Morty travelled back in time and helped Rey and the iCarly crew save the galaxy from a Death Star equipped with a bunch of Thrawn's gravity well things A vision from a timeline that is somehow worse than this one, perhaps?

I've got spring break extended until Wednesday, and online classes only after that (at UMN). It's gonna be weird...Meanwhile I'm washing my hands and not touching my face in Cancun.

Man, if only we could become this panicked about a problem with a 100-year timescale... -

I am a Human. I am a part of Earth, and part of the Universe. My body carries the story of thousands of worlds, my material forged in stars long gone, and the light of the sun burns inside me.

I hang on tight. Then I press F9.

Looks to be a stony-iron or some such composition, as a pure iron sphere would be about 13 tons. See page 7 of https://arxiv.org/pdf/1203.4336.pdf

This video is a tour of ULA's rocket factory led by Tory Bruno himself! It's a really great watch for anyone interested in rocket engineering. Edit: There are also videos of Tory explaining the Delta IV Heavy on the launch pad, and talk about the relationship with other rocket companies and engines, also really good.

They're right, all seams. Typically a print is built up using many thin layers, and each of those hundreds of layers is a plane that may fail structurally. Now, there are a few types of printing that make a continuous structure, but they are resin-based and unsuited for making rockets.

PSYCHE! YES! I am so excited for this mission.

Record-Sized Explosion from Black Hole
cubinator replied to GearsNSuch's topic in Science & Spaceflight
The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.
