Yup. I try to keep that in mind, and when I get too stressed from it I know it's time to take a break, look outside, and make some tea or something.

I think what we see on the front pages are the most extremes, which filter to the top of the internet. The most extreme disease, the most extreme attack, the most extreme cute dog. Most of the stuff that goes on in the world is pretty normal, but that stuff just doesn't get much attention in the news, where people try to tell what's 'new'.

I had a dream that a baby got into my room by teleporting through a wall, and I had to carry it all the way downstairs to return it to its mother...

Looks like a giant sunspot. Has Betelgeuse changed in other frequencies differently? We know it's dimmer in the visual range, but couldn't the same event spike up in radio or X-rays?

Darb. But wait...now they are actually postponing launches in favor of better recovery conditions! I know it's entirely their own mission, but they didn't used to get the opportunity to do this so much.

You could probably just carry the antenna in, say, your Tesla, and beam the network to your phone from there.

Forests are like really tall salads...........

They don't put that picture of a green Mars on their webcast for nothing.

I dunno about that, I'm among the youngest who remember the reclassification, and I could see a few of us living 250 years.

Take a trans-Neptunian seat, young Dwarf Planet.

It's kind of wacky to watch Back To The Future whilst decisively in the future.

I just watched the ISS's live stream of Earth...from inside the picture! I could see my whole city on my screen and the camera's location in the sky at the same time. -
By that time, (up to 100 ky from now) the stars are likely to have drifted significantly. The group we call Orion will look at least a little wacky when trying to pick out the figure of a man. My guess is the Intergalactic Astronomical Union will be 'cleaning up' a lot of lines, borders, and designations around that time anyway. Of course, if it happens now...My guess is that Rigel takes the crown, the neutron star stays Betelgeuse but gets a typical neutron star designation, and the new nebula gets a brand new name.

It should look about the same as Rigel, but right now it's about the same as Bellatrix.

So it's still going down...That's longer than astronomers seemed to expect this to last back in December. We're probably a hundred years out if we're very lucky. Or very unlucky, depending on your point of view.

I thought so too. Looking back at some photos of the big metal version, it's not as bad as it looks, but the truss is still a little big.

FYI there is now a LEGO ISS. I took some pictures of mine! https://imgur.com/a/TPOSswj

They will roll New Glenn out to the pad before they announce its launch date the next day...

For Starship, rust is earned at the destination.
