  1. Yes .. if mods didnt work because CKAN reported them as incompatible, we would have a lot of dead mods on our hands. CKAN is not the end all-be all for KSP..
  2. I made too many Gauss textures and now we can't decide on which one we want to use.. So a poll is in order VOTE HERE TEXTURE 1 TEXTURE 2 Cast your vote HERE!
  3. no.. this mod, just like GPP will never be on CKAN. too many moving parts to it Kopernicus will be on CKAN if its not already
  4. yep here you go https://www.dropbox.com/s/9tbhp4mz2z8cqlg/output_log.txt?dl=0 yeah i had the ring option enabled. There was a 1.3 degree inclination on the rings that were indeed on jool
  5. OK after a quick test,, mostly good things, but i noticed a few eye sores.. I was using the default scatterer cfgs and settings along side SVE clouds. http://imgur.com/a/AzPaf As you can see, the terminator has a very hard transition from scaled space and on the surface. Also, the auroras on the dark side also fail to be illuminated. The Kopernicus ring shadows also do not seem to be taking effect. Eve is also looking a little under the weather I hope this helps. Everything is coming along very nicely!
  6. Thats not your fault. I have it worded badly in the OP. I'll change it
  7. With any text editor. Just like any other OS. TextEdit, pages, Microsoft Word, Adobe brackets. There are so many.
  8. It wouldn't crash if you were using x64 bit. You are running the x32 bit SVE has Scatterer and EVE bundled with it. Do not download them separately. SVT and and SVE were designed together so yes they are compatible as I stated 4 comments ago.
  9. I do not deal with CKAN and I'm about ready to ask for it to be taken down permanently because the repeated questions regarding CKAN are getting is getting out of hand. Please take all CKAN questions to the ckan thread. As for you not having clouds, make sure you downloaded the SVE ALL-IN-ONE version on Github. If you still can't get clouds, post your logs and a screenshot of your gamedata folder.
  10. I still don't mess with cube maps. I just gave up on getting them to work. And I think I did what you are talking about.
  11. I wouldn't put it past blackrack to figure something like that out. I'm convinced he's a magician. But if the best we can do is what kopernicus expansion has, I'm OK with that
  12. Ok. You can play whatever you want lol The planets are what they are. Not every solar system is going to have a red planet like Mars.
  13. Good because I just don't have a ton of time between this and my other mods right now. I have a whole other solar system to take care of lol
  14. I'm using collisionFX code changing it so it recognized the wheel colliders and using a new particle effect, but it's not looking how I want. I haven't messed with in a a week's or so. I kinda just gave up on it and I'm sticking with my bread and butter, which is textures lol I want to use collision fx because it has biome colored dust that kicks up which would add to the realism.
  15. You got me. I have been trying to implement dust kicking up behind rover wheels for the last week.. How has THAT never been implemented? I hate feeling like I'm driving over plastic
  16. So I fell out of love with Gauss and its obviously photoshopped texture. So I decided to change it up. So, keep the old Gauss texture or this one?
  17. Those features were finished at one point and nothing has been ported over to the latest KSP. Here's a pic of the footprints And here is a look at the gas animation stuff
  18. The asset bundle thing is normal and has zero effect on performance. Basically, KSP already has the same asset bundles and its just letting you know. So your performance isn't effected by this as stock ksp uses the exact same thing. As for the other issue.. I'll look at your log Edit: before you go and ask kopernicus or MFI, try a fresh install of KSP and SVE. I just checked my game and I don't have any issues with the latest kopernicus. Can you send me a screenshot of your gamedata folder?
  19. @Drew Kerman You can see eclipses from the ground. I have quite a few screenshots of it happening. Ohhh yeah! I forgot about kopernicus expansions! @blackrack please please please take a look at that! Footprints and procedural gas giant clouds were soo good with that mod and maybe the work is partially done. I'm pretty sure the dev has stopped working on it. Here's the link
