so that most definitely fix the fog issues! runs like a charm and looks wonderful.
-
Yeah he put the update out last night
-
No need to apologize dood. You made a quality mod. We are just helping test :) and if that's the only issue than I'd say it's pretty damn good! Did you happen to see the eve update?
-
They don't follow though. they are just very low set clouds. Almost looks like a fog at KSC. I know what you are saying but I don't know that it pertains to what I'm reporting. I'm sure I'll figure it out
-
Yeah I understand that. I just didn't describe it well but something isn't right there lol. I replaced the clouds cfg with the cfg from 5.8 UR and it was fine.
-
@Nhawks17 there are definitely clouds moving through KSC and its wrecking my performance pretty badly. usually get about 80-90FPS at KSC now I'm getting 13fps at launch. . As I move the camera around I can make out clouds or fog as shown above. they drift very slowly toward the water.
-
it only looks like that during sunset/sunrise I cant notice it when the sun is at its highest. ill keep testing tonight and let you know. this looks great
-
@Nhawks17 So I hate bearing bad news... The clouds are there, that's good, but they are really low. In the ground actually. its hard to get a good angle on it. is it a cfg I can edit?
-
I have Hughesnet satellite Internet. It's so slow and I'm a graphic designer. I have a ton of clients and can't seem to get stuff to them fast enough. I feel your pain
-
I'll test it right now
-
That's what I was going to suggest but I don't know anything about macs. That file just looked weird to me lol
-
@gkorgood have you tested out the new SVE on Windows yet? Did you notice less volumetric clouds? I just want to see if anyone else is having his happen before nhawks plays detective.
-
Could always get a pc I never see anything but problems with ksp and macs
-
there are very few volumetric clouds for me. If this looks normal than great! it just is a lot less than the last version.
-
@Nhawks17 are there less volumetric clouds now? Just now checking the update out. Looks great btw
-
No because kopernicus isn't updated yet and isn't compatible
-
Read page one of the thread. He doesn't have 1.1 yet
-
Woot!
-
Heck to the yes.

the author made the mod the way he intended. He isnt forcing anyone to download this. If you want those particular mods then nothing is stopping you from getting them and dealing with potential integration issues. More power to you. Again this is in beta. Who knows what's in store for this mod. And just because he isn't going to make this mod exactly how some want it, doesn't mean it won't be great for many other people. What I'm seeing is people crying because they want the integration of this mod but only if its THEIR set of preferred mods. If the author said no then that's that. No point in continuous requests.
-
Why not just use what he has painstakingly put together? Running both, you are asking for issues. What you are basically asking is what others are asking for and that's to make it modular so you can continue to utilize remote tech. What he has done is integrate all of these mods so they work seamlessly together. No more running to 12 different modders to fix an issue. It's awesome. And note, it's still in beta and will likely only get better with time and feedback, not asking him to break his mod down brick by brick so you can throw out the ones you don't use.
