  1. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or interpreting this mod the wrong way, but it sounds to me that the idea it's to launch sounding rockets right from the start to boost your science. But I can't launch them because they have no control, and the probe is unlocked only in the middle of the tech tree, costing 90 science. Shouldn't it be available from the start? Nevertheless awesome mod @RoverDude
  2. @raidernick Yeah, I know Porjet's mod, but I haven't seen the video, and the pictures only shows the parts inflated, so I thought they were static. My pardon! EDIT: If a moderator could close this please. Thanks!
  3. Hello guys, Have you seen this: http://spaceflight101.com/beam-installation-on-iss/? It's and inflable habitat that will be installed on ISS for 2 years. I haven't seen/found any mods about that. There's already USI-MKS by @RoverDude that uses the concept of inflables, but for bases. What you guys think about it? I, unfortunatly, don't have the time and knowledge to make it myself, othewise I would give it a shot. EDIT: I didn't look too hard to find a mod about this, so if there's already one, forgive me
  4. Nome: Victor Idade: 24 País: Brasil "Cidade": Interior SP Tempo de Jogo: 250h Mods: KER, MechJeb, KIS, KAS, Kerbal Planetary Base Systems, Station Science, DMagic Orbital Science, Kerbal Alarm Clock, RemoteTech, SCANsat, Distant Object Enhancement, EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements, Infernal Robotics, Contract Configurator (with some Contract Packs), Portrait Stats, BoxSat, PlanetShine, RCS Build Aid, Procedural Fairings, Kerbalized Flags and Space Agencies, e talvez mais um ou outro que tenha esquecido XD
  5. Ok, I installed correctly and now everything loads properly with the exception of the Research Lab. It has no texture and an apparent glow (not sure if it's really glowing or if it's an impression due to the lack of texture). Don't know why. EDIT: Nevermind, reloaded the game and it's ok now.
  6. I prefer the idea of creating custom groups for your crafts. After some time playing you eventually end with too much satellites, for instance, on Kerbin. Being able to classify them as Kerbin SOI Relay Network, Inner PLanets Relay, Outer Planets Relay, ComSats, MapSats, ScienceSats would be great. Not just to find them easily, but to show you only what you want on the map.
  7. I agree, but I think info should be obtained in two ways: 1- Upgrading your Tracking Station and R&D buildings. This would give basic info such as size, gravity, atmosphere... the bigger/closer the body is more and better info, the smaller/further, less and worse info. 2- Sending probes/rovers/kerbals there. This would give all the precise info that you can get with it. Topology, composition, size, mass, gravity, atmosphere composicion, pressure, etc. This features could be turned on/off manually or by default depending on the chosen difficulty.
  8. @OneFourteen Which mods are you using? I'm suspecting that BoxSat, Orbital Science or RemoteTech are the cause of the problem, but haven't check though.
  9. I'm having the same issue. The experiments don't even show on the Tech Tree.
  10. I found a lot of old drivers installation problem and a big amount of people facing the same problem as me. Unfortunately, none of them was solved. =/ EDIT: on a WOW's forum, there was a guy saying that this started to happen after an update. There's a way to get the second latest version? EDIT 2: But I don't think the problem is the GPU, because it still hapens when I use Intel Graphics.
  11. Update: the game still freezes with Intel Graphics. But in my lattest attempt I had a different error, the image is on the dropbox folder. But I believe that this new error is due to Intel Graphics lack of power. Update 2: this time, it froze while loading VAB.
  12. Yes, I did that already, I posted the results here "... the GPU temp was 67C, the CPU 87C and Memory data was 4,6/3,3 GB (used/free)". The printscreen is on the Dropbox folder.
  13. Well, I played using Intel HD Graphics, it worked better for about 1h, than it froze for 10s and recovered. So the problem seems to be the GPU after all, but I've already played for this long using NVIDIA. So a few more tries are needed, but I hopeful!
  14. No, I have only Chrome, AVG, VLC, uTorrent, Steam, Office, WinRAR and KSP installed yet. Some Dell stuff also. Intel HD Graphics is able to run KSP? Just occurred me trying that to see if still freezes.
  15. Update: the problem persists. I tested my Memory, GPU and CPU again and found nothing wrong again. I also updated to Windows 8.1. The problem could be some incompatibility with my hardware or the game itself, since my hardware seems ok after all these tests. I had compatibility problems before, with my Saitek X52 PRO, I can't use it with the laptop, but it works fine with every other one I tried.
  16. Thanks! I'll read through that I try it. It'll take me a while for that, but I post my results when done. Thanks again!
  17. Yes, I have rebooted. From Steam I got two corrupet files, that will be replaced. I susppected that it was my system from start, but I can find anything wrong and it normal for everything else. I getting out of options in my range
  18. Did that now, it still froze. I put the KSP.txt file on dropbox, this is showing repeatedly at the moment that it freezes: [EXC 18:49:12.137] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object ModuleParachute.SetConvectiveStats () ModuleParachute.FixedUpdate () I looked this file after and it shown the same message repeatedly in the same way
  19. Yes, I did that now, played, and it froze the same way again. Perhaps even quicker.
  20. From my research, its because de laptop uses Intel Graphics for everyday tasks and switches to NVidia for more demanding tasks. On the NVidia Control Panel, it says tha KSP runs on NVidia GPU. Is that right or I need to go further?
  21. Will try that later, but my problem is slightly different. I had 2 freezes on flight, and the time it take to freeze in VBA varies a lot, from some second to several minutes. But my GPU is fine for other games, such as Bioshock Infinite.
  22. I got the driver I'm using from Dell (http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=RRN66), its a GT 525M/GT 540M driver apperently. The dxdiag only show the Intel Graphics, put a printscreen on the dropbox folder. I saved the dxdiag infos and searched on the .txt it created for 'nvidia' found a GT540M in System Devices, also put the .txt on the dropbox folder. I searched what GPU Dell XPS L502x has, discovered that it could have both. EDIT: Downloaded the GT525M driver from the NVidia site. Its the same as the one I had for GT540M. Also n system, manage devices it shows as GT540M, so it's the same for both.
  23. I got some spare time after launch so I played again, none blue screens until now, but I manage to close the game while frozen and saw this message "nvidia display driver stopped responding and has recovered". I searched a little but haven't found nothing conclusive. EDIT: The KSP.exe kept running after I closed the game, so I restarted my system, causing a blue screen. Stop error message: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE STOP: 0x0000009F (0x00000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA8007CAA10, 0xFFFFF80000B9C3D8, 0xFFFFFA800D61FC60) Imagen on the same dropbox link
  24. All the process running while playing KSP are on the images 1 to 5. The memory passed the test, the results are on the image 'Memory results'. I don't have time today to try a blue screen, but as soon as a have, I'll try and post the results. Link to the images: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/csbel6dva07edjh/AACu4HQ0ttC5Pnd4vjIG29Ala?dl=0
