My first completely self designed helicopter. Mostly uncontrollable but it flies. 6 Juno jets on the wingtips, with a custom built bearing. Turbine engine version is in development . As you can see, this is the reason it is unmanned: "This is your captain speaking. We are experiencing some slight turbulence. Please reattach your seatbelts, put your head between your legs, and kiss your *** goodbye." I hope you enjoyed looking at this haphazard pile of junk. Please help me improve it. 1 rep = 1 probe core in place of 1 death row convict/test pilot.(kidding)

Today, I spent 2 hours aerobraking a terribad reentry from the mun. 32 orbits. I'm done for tonight. Oh, and also Bill got out to push, but he decided to do so while he was still within the atmosphere. Luckily he survived, but he was glowing a little afterwards.

It's called attaching parachutes to your boosters and then recovering them with the tracking station.

I was inclined to believe that asteroids have a really high heat tolerance (10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 K) by the wiki page about Kerbol. Maybe we should fix that?

You can do some amazing things with flat-bottomed fairings (flat bottom, aerodynamic top) and sepratrons, which can subtract 500 m/s easily.

Bill was strolling around on the mun, taking some surface samples. A few seconds later, a stray FL-T400 which was apparently in a very low orbit, smashed into Bill's shuttle, which contained 10 other Kerbals on a field trip. They were seated on the external command chairs, in a cargo bay. Basically, my beautiful space shuttle became a Kessler bomb made of kerbals. It took me 20 minutes to get the survivors to my conveniently placed backup ship, and another 30 to stuff them into the 2.5M service bay. Finally, Bill started the engine, and as he escaped the mun, a trail of Kerbals fell from the open service bay doors to their hopefully quick deaths.

Today I went to Duna. While in orbit of Kerbin, a stray decoupler from one of my old sstos removed a solar panel from the mothership. You see, this is exactly why we have RTGs in the game.

Furthest planet I've been to is Jool, with a good amount of quicksaves and 300 DV of infinite liquid fuel. And also mechjeb, which proves how terrible I am. Still, I could be worse at this.

Anyone have a good engine bearing that I could take a look at? I want to make a helicopter, but my own turbines tend to explode or simply not work. Thanks in advance.
