  1. I never launch rockets anymore for some reason. Same goes for spaceplanes, unfortunately. It's more fun for me to make a helicopter or something else useless. Maybe I'm just a bit tired though.

    Combat VTOL MKI "Hummingbird"

This simple, well balanced VTOL is designed to drop supplies or explosives on your allies/foes. Powered by 2 Panther engines, it handles decently. The afterburners can be toggled, for either long range flight or a fast take-off or landing. It is capable of performing complex maneuvers due to the 2 reaction wheels and the gimbals of the 2 engines. All around, it's a simple, reliable little craft.

  3. I think if you right-click on the decouplers, you can disable their staging. EDIT: I've been ninja'd
  4. Shhhhhh, tovarisch. Don't go saying that in public.
  5. It's on m8. Prepare uranus for Sick Burnstm He didn't say "No infinite fuel!".
  6. You can see it if you opened your door for the first time. *sick burn*
  7. Definitely. Here's a dV map of the Kerbol system.
  8. I am very impressed. How did he manage? I'll download the craft.
  9. A remarkable feat of engineering. I do have one question: Are both engines a single craft, of do I have to throttle both seperately? I suspect it is just a single craft, but I would like some clarification.
  10. At higher speeds, my craft turn on a dime as well. Though they do have a tendency to snap in two when I try to do so. And the thing is that real life aircraft turn with their momentum, while ours just pivot.
  11. "Most maneuverable plane ever made" I, for one, doubt that. It's okay to use hyperbole, but add a bit of a disclaimer if you do. And I've made one in stock aero that literally turns on a dime. It does use a bit of RCS engine thrust, but it flips almost instantly. And by literally, I mean it.
  12. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1dprxey2lhgv1dk/P-48K.craft?dl=0 My BDarmory fighter, designed for FAR but should work in stock https://www.dropbox.com/s/sbkanfthjf7wbc5/C_R_K_K_%20T-55%20heavy%20MBT.craft?dl=0 Stronk Tonk https://www.dropbox.com/s/siujlb11ezk3x0s/T-22%20MK3%20Functional%20Variant%20II.craft?dl=0 Stock, but you can swap out the faulty sepratron turret for a BDarmory 105mm gun. Don't change the turret, though.
  13. Stock game, no mods. I was launching my small, 30-part VTOL off the runway, powered by 6 Junos. This massive ring of exhaust particles appeared, making my game lag to about 20 fps. Then, when the VTOL lifted off, the fog ring mostly disappeared. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
  14. You want to peruse some of my aesthetically pleasing tank designs, and modify them to your own needs?

VTMT-21 "Bear" A ground attack aircraft, the VT-21 is a medium bomber and a VTOL in one. By design it is lightly armed, with a single anti-tank rocket and 10 small bombs in its cargo bay. Suitable for use in most small airports, this is the backbone of the C.R.K.K. occupation force in many of their arctic territories. Although not a particularly capable craft, it is more than enough to destroy most light vehicles. It has a max cargo of 14 tons of supplies, which is perfect for its role as a general-purpose VTL craft. Prototype TVL-1 Converts from VTOL mode to long-range conventional flight mode almost seamlessly. High lifting area means that the conversion time is greatly reduced for this prototype. It is equipped with turbofans under the fuselage for conventional flight, and 6 Panther engines for VTOL mode. Uses RCS thrusters for greater control over it when in flight. In development and will see redesigns soon. VTAL-22 Bird-of-prey A powerful evolution of the TVL-1, this is a heavily armed gunship capable of taking down much larger ones. Armed with a 10-round gunpod which can be ejected and a good sized bomb bay, it's the USC's answer to the CRKK's Bear. A heavier craft than the latter, it keeps the Bear's positive attributes and adds massive improvements to it, such as the ability to fly like a normal plane, making it a much more versatile way to combat other ships. Download link is in the post, for a change. https://www.dropbox.com/s/afiaqw3am6wc7lg/MK2%20transition%20VTOL%20Armed%20prototype.craft?dl=0
