  1. 0/10 not practical An extreme ultraviolet laser from Children of a Dead Earth game, designed by me.
  2. Is flinging itself around [GP2 - Sarvin]. This spacecraft-shaped tower...
  3. 7/10 I don't understand it but it's cool, though.
  4. HAH NO, BUT I'LL STEAL YOUR TAG @0111narwhalz
  5. Banned for not having a profile pic
  6. Okay, the conclusion of the fight a few mins ago is that they meant 'some kind of stuff that can show where the mouse is pointing'. I suggested some kind of navball marker.
  7. The devs are busy. You'll get things much faster in the addon discussion.
  8. You just have to share the idea in the appropriate location to get everything you want fast. Anyways, it's up to you.
  9. Decided to send Jeb on a Hyperedit tour at Rega. Once I got there, the bug has been spotted in an instant. (100 km orbit) Fonso has similar bug (visible at 100 km, but apparent below 80 km), but fades away when the ship orbits further out. I guess every objects has this kind of bug... I think if you zoomed into any planet close enough, that planet will pixelate. Not sure if Kerbol Origins, Kerbol Enhanced or other mods.
  10. Why do you have to make another ball when you can just mod that. Make/move a thread in/to the Add-on Development. Make a cursor marker, then tell some modder. This should be an easy thing to make. And instead of telling this to me at the first time. Heh, Asv. out.
  11. Pics. Also, can we move into a PM? This thread is flooded.
  12. You can mod it by yourself. I don't see the importance. Pics if possible. And, of course, it is not possible to have north and south without any references. I know you gotta use them on the surface, though.
  13. Why do you even need the compass? If you mean literal compass, Duna and Moho most likely lacks magnetosphere, Eve probably also lacks (who knows), Jool will break your compass right away. Most objects in the Kerbol system doesn't have magnetosphere, so why even care about it? If you mean some kind of GPS, it's not that hard since you can always open the map view.
  14. That won't work for anybody. Gas planets are much closer to terrestrial and ice giants than stars, so much that it has to separate 'heliophysics' from 'planetary science'. Also, ice giants and hot ocean planets both have gaseous 'surface'. Try learn more about planetary science.
  15. Set target. Right-click on the target, and [Set Target]. Pink marks will appear.
  16. According to the new, purposed definition: "the word 'planet' has a lot of impact on people. Some even ask 'Why are you sending probes to Pluto? It's not a planet.' and right now he got angry. This proposal considers the physical properties of the object and not the interaction between that object and the others. It's more about planetary scientists' favor, led by the New Horizons team's leader Alan Stern. - The new definition - Stars - Any object that has once capable of fusing elements (Giant stars, main sequence stars, white dwarfs, brown dwarfs, etc.) Planets - Any object that has never undergone nuclear fusion, but has sufficient self-gravitation to assume spheroid shape. (Planets, satellite planets) Planetoids - Any object that has never undergone nuclear fusion, and has insufficient self-gravitation to assume spheroid shape. (Asteroids, comets, meteoroids, etc.)
  17. You can't have a compass in space, where there is no north or south. Try to navigate with the navball.
  18. SSTO - Single-stage-to-orbit. It's a rocket... ...that can go to space in one stage. The total mass is 60,000 kg. The upper stage is 4,500 kg (7.5% of launch mass). costs 36,000 roots, and is very, very simple: just boost yourself into the space. Perfect for new players learning about how to get into the orbit. Not cool-looking, just utility. The orbital booster is ditched instantly once the assembly reaches stable orbit, and is usually recovered by the local station. The tiny upper 'shuttle' stage has enough delta-v to go to Mun. Probably still working well with FAR installed.
  19. I have a skybox (uschi0815's Milky Way panorama) which includes the tilt of the milky way respected to Earth/Kerbin's rotation. I'm surprised it wasn't popular, because it was well made and I absolutely love it. Check out the 'naked eye' one! Note: Pood's was installed to make the working skybox, then I replaced its images with this one. Installing this directly into TexReplacer doesn't work for me.
