  1. Best results come from enabling "Scatterer-EVE integration" in scatterer settings. The mod will not look true to screenshots otherwise. Kerbin has two cloud layers, "main" and "cirrus". The cirrus clouds have a rippling effect, while the main clouds cover most of the body. In the most recent update, as well as with the latest scatterer, clouds have a much better fading out on the horizon.
  2. If you guys still have "BoulderCo" in your GameData, you either messed up by installing default EVE configs, or have a much older version of AVP. Please make sure you wipe "BoulderCo" from your GameData before installing new AVP updates, which use "AstronomersVisualPack" as their main folder.
  3. Not very? Just remove all folders in "KSPRC" with the exception of Terrain and PluginData, leave the configs alone.
  4. Minmus dust appears low on the body, in dust clouds that stay in place while the body rotates. They should be apparent, but if not I can up their frequency next update.
  5. Quickfix for some issues is now out on GitHub. It's still AVP.v.3.41.zip, but the files have been altered in the download slightly.
  6. SVE doesn't feature any configurations for texture, terrain, and atmosphere AFAIK. CKAN should deny you from installing more than one visual pack's configs, but nonetheless only install SVE + an SVE res textures of your choice.
  7. CityLights mostly look odd because of the detailtexture, which I grabbed from stock EVE configs. When I have time, I'll fix that up. They look natural from orbit nonetheless. (quoted the wrong post woops whatever)
  8. Well that was the first compliment on this topic XD Thank you! I know the citylights are a bit scrappy, so feel free to give some feedback on that!
  9. Astronomer's Visual Pack - v3.41 "Universality" - Please feel free to bother me more about bugs and things that need to be fixed. I want to release a version that will stick for more than just a week. - CityLights fixed. - Sunflare changed. - Lightning brighter. https://github.com/themaster402/AstronomersVisualPack/releases
  10. Because of how the visual enhancement scene is at the moment, the file structure of the mod changes slightly almost every update. I recommend wiping out the entirety of AVP before installing the latest update, it may fix some issues. Anyways, that issue seems like it's coming from scatterer. Update your scatterer to the 1.3 version. As for other issues, especially with the file structure, I understand a couple of features need fixing. Unfortunately I did not have the time to do that today, so hopefully I'll get around to it tomorrow.
  11. The lightning texture in the original AVP really was that blue, so I decided to stick with it. I'll up the whiteness in the bugfix today.
  12. Man, why does everyone think the lightning flashes are bugs? Yes, there are fully intentional lightning strikes in this mod.
  13. I thought I had edited the configs to point to the new citylights sources. Anyways, when I did test the citylights they were overlapping with Kerbin's waters. Is the same happening for you?
  14. https://github.com/themaster402/AstronomersVisualPack/releases "Releases" is on that GitHub page.
  15. There seems to be an issue regarding Kopernicus with deploying solar panels. It doesn't really matter if you remove Kopernicus, the clouds and atmosphere will stay but you won't have KSPRC's ground textures.
  16. I should clarify this. The SpaceDock download is not modular, comes in a full package with 8k textures already in there. You still have to download the dependencies of EVE and Scatterer there though. KSPRC works perfectly fine if the latest Kopernicus is installed to the game. You only want the folder "KSPRC" in the .zip, drag and drop that to your GameData, remove the Atmospheres and CityLights folder inside and you got what you need.
  17. Dropping a sudden major update. Astronomer's Visual Pack - v3.4 "Universality" - Now using the latest as a dependency (PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CURRENT SCATTERER TO THIS VERSION USING THIS LINK) - Tweaked cloud configs for this new scatterer, Jool clouds look more true to the original, Eve clouds enhanced, Kerbin clouds enhanced. https://github.com/themaster402/AstronomersVisualPack/releases/tag/v3.4
  18. That's literally intentional thunder in the sky LOL. It's part of the pack. If you want to remove it, do it through the EVE GUI in the Tracking Station.
  19. Astronomer's Visual Pack - v3.32 "Indivi-Duality" - Keep those loading screens and tips coming! - TextureReplacer replaced by TextureReplacerReplaced (PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS IN ORDER TO HAVE FULL FUNCTION WITH THIS VERSION)
  20. It hasn't been dropped here yet. Following the upgrade to EVE, I suggest using OPM-VO.
