  1. Thank you! Honestly I've probably torn a decent bit of my hair off at Eve... scatterer's default Eve config literally forces the planet's atmosphere to have a super pink hue, nullifying basically any cloud colors. Might have to work on creating my own Eve configs.
  2. Cloud altitude change was already slated for the next bugfix's changelog Sorry they've been soaring at unnatural altitudes all this time.
  3. Who doesn't love some 'ol rings? I suggest you add some pictures and licensing info, else icky stuff will happen not too soon.
  4. The sounds and music will be in their own separate .zip, they will not be packaged in the main visual pack.
  5. Currently working on the sounds and musics pack. We're at 200mb of music! Of course, I've never exactly had much good taste in music, and am quickly running out of (uncopyrighted) ambient background themes! Community suggestions will be open to the development of this project. Go ahead and either PM me musics or sounds suggestions (including situation if you will) or quote this reply with a suggestion. The plan is to release this untitled SoundtrackEditor pack within this thread as it is not important enough for its own thread, also since it is supposed to fit hand-in-hand with AVP's visual experience. SSRSS/RSS config development will begin immediately after the release of the auditory enhancement pack, with the help of some EVE community experts
  6. 4k would put enough load. 8k if you're feeling fancy and want to sacrifice your fps to 30-40 in atmosphere.
  7. Hey all. With the progressing return of SoundtrackEditor, as well as motivation from some users, I have two future ideas that branch off of AVP. Firstly, an auditory enhancement package to fit in with the rest of AVP, utilizing SoundtrackEditor to play not only custom music, but ambient sounds that aren't present in the stock games that play at certain times (i.e. winds on Jool buffeting the spacecraft) Secondly, an RSS/SSRSS-compatiblity set of configs. SSRSS will likely be done first due to the ease of integrating the configs already available to stock to the platform. These will likely come in the next month, if I am able to find the time.
  8. v3.6 is out! No minor change changelog due to my physical inability to document every change between this update and the previous one. - Brand new original Laythe clouds - Many, many, many optimizations and minor fixes + changes. I'm still in the process of figuring out why even launching from Kerbin causes immense lag. Any feedback is highly appreciated.
  9. Apologies if I can't get to every support query-- you guys are getting better at solving these yourself. Working on a new update. Laythe has all new original clouds, as well as an atmosphere closer to the one envisioned in KSPRC. Lots of optimizations (especially as requested/nagged by @Captain Sierra) Codename: Godspeed.
  10. Going to the releases section of the repository and scrolling down a bit will reveal the texture releases.
  11. Dude, seriously, all your activity on the forums is asking for updates and reporting mod issues.
  12. Ohoho... sometimes I'm just so attentive to AVP public relations, support, and updating that I entirely miss the core of what I've done. Thank you! Added screenshot to Loadingscreen stack for next update
  13. Jeez man, 1.1.2... You just have to drop the KSPRC folder from the archive into your GameData, download the latest EVE, and leave out scatterer if that's what you want. The photo in 1.3 has those extra clouds because you installed EVE configs on top of KSPRC configs.
  14. Make sure you have the latest scatterer and only the default scatterer configs. Kerbin shouldn't have angled wispy clouds.
  15. Well, that's a new one. A KSP.log would help, though it would be difficult to find the source of this specific issue. I have never encountered it myself or with any users.
  16. The latest AVP depends on TextureReplacerReplaced rather than the TR 1.3 port due to it's functionality of being able to load textures from other folders, allowing further integration with other mods with all AVP content in a single folder. When the EVE configurator spits out "invalid name", it simply means that since the name box is empty by default it is invalid. If you click on over to the cloud configs and such, the cloud entries will show up in the list which you can select and modify.
  17. Don't know what gave you the audacity to put the download link back up still lacking proper licensing. All that I see in change is the archive simply being reformatted to a one time drag and drop, no steps (why are new stock EVE configs still in here?). The OP still does not state a license. The licenses that do happen to be in here were already integrated into the original mod downloads (EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements stock configs, PlanetShine). How could you possibly miss or even attempt to avoid 100% of the issues you were called out for?! A couple other tidbits: the TextureReplacer @Default.cfg included in this clearly states: The "CREDITS.rtf" text fails to credit everyone involved properly.
  18. Poorly. Don't know why the dev silently sneaks around the forums ("Last Visited: 1 hour ago") without interaction or even just recompiling this for 1.3 and effectively allowing the rest of his mods to function in 1.3.
  19. (lol what happened to the forums) AVP is back on CKAN! The issue happened to be that, because scatterer is typically stylized with a lower-case "s", I had written it that way in the dependency section, nullifying the entire CKAN entry. Madlemur, if you're reading this, many thanks! Currently being worked on are optimizations and texture modifications. As school is coming up, I will be finding less time to update this mod (don't worry, as long as none of the dependencies' have their syntax change, AVP should be compatible with future versions of Kerbal Space Program with the right dependency versions.) Anyone who is willing to contribute to AVP may submit pull requests on the AVP GitHub for me to review and merge.
  20. Hello. I know I'm about to make support for my issue a pain due to my heavily modded install, but I suspect it may be an issue or conflict with another mod nonetheless. Upon coming into orbit around any body, the console and log are spammed with: which heavily slows down the game. In this case, I was above Minmus. I have tried removing the seemingly faulty "minmus_uranium" entry in the resource definitions configuration and the texture, but still the log spam comes again with a different resource. I can supply the KSP.log if necessary, though it is a hefty 83 MB due to the spam. GameData
