Yeah sorry it has been a very poor day

I'll start testing some systems and life support mods. This is going to take up a lot of my summer. I don't think I could do a challenge of this magnitude with school+sports. But this should make a decent YouTube series though

Perhaps a scoring system? Perhaps don't have impossible requirements. Just my thoughts

How is this a challenge? Ion is by far the most efficient propulsion system in a vacuum (Jets might be more efficient but they need an atmosphere with O2). And unmanned makes it even lighter therefore easier. Similarly not requiring a return trip makes it even easier. A trip to Eleloo is no small feat but not necessarily challenge worthy.

Was it a one way trip? If so the Δv should be less than a round trip from Minmus which is an easy trip even for most beginners.

So I accepted a contract to build a base on Duna. One of the requirements is to have a resource converter on the base. Yet in testing (and previous experience) the 1.25 meter ISRU doesn't count for some reason. This is a problem because 1. The 2.5 meter ISRU is bigger than I want. 2. I have a nice setup in which the 1.25m fits inside of a cargo bay for the planetary base mod so aesthetics would be bad (this is going to go on YouTube) 3. The 2.5m is bigger. 4. The contract doesn't specify which converter it wants anywhere. So this raises a question. If I fulfill all of the requirements, except the ISRU one, then should I just complete the contract via alt + f12 or would that be wrong? I just want to see some other peoples opinions and ideas on the subject.

This level of optimism and faith is something I wish I had. But the fact that I am relatively new to this game means I have a lot more to do before I will get tired of this game

You get forum rep for getting likes on the stuff you post and there is a point in the game once you can not really get any more reputation due to the fact that it is impossible to get 100% reputation because the calculation is weird

Kerbal planetary base systems. Ill give you the specs of the greenhouse itself once I get home. And remember it doesnt actually make any food its just there so you can act like your kerbals wont starve.

The green house is from a different mod and doesnt actually produce resources yet it is a paint to transport and in a slightly more realistic KSP any greenhouse would give kerbals food and the whole reason we use life support mods is to make it slightly more realistic.

I will try my best to do this in career but life support systems make me angry so if I have a green house for ever 10 kerbals would that count?

Duna with Jeb Bill and Bob. I had to cheat to keep my craft from overheating in the atmosphere though . However recently I did it entirely legitimate and caught it on video. Here's a link to the video if you so desire. I would embed it but lets not self promote too much

I would make a single stage to suborbital flight. Figuring out how to land close to your base with an atmosphere would be difficult yet if you were in a plane you could correct by flying. Also 100th post!!!
