Thank you. I actually didn't even slingshot out of anything, I just made a direct ejection from Kerbin. -
Mk1-3 Interstellar race
Ksp Slingshooter replied to Klapaucius's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Ok, I have ejected 3 kerbals out of the Kerbol system in 3 min and 56 sec MET. Here's proof: https://imgur.com/a/d5V81tn -

Oh OK, so it is MET (mission elapsed time) -

The time for the record is real time or Met time? -
Here's my entry for the K-Prize, an SSTO that only weighs 9,208 tons. It's called Phoenix mk-3. It took me a few attempts to perfect the ascent profile (that's why you'll see different pilots in the pilot seat). It only ends up having ~200 m/s of delta-V in LKO Here's the full album: https://imgur.com/gallery/pW5W7q0

For this challenge, do we need to achieve self-sufficiency for the permanent bases and colonies (like in Usi-Mks) or do we only need to resupply the ships once they run out of supplies?

I would like to try this challenge at some point, but I have some questions: Are we allowed to play in a version newer than 1.7? In the missions that have "a" and "b", do we have to complete both in the same launch or are they 2 separate launches? Do we have to maintain the same shuttle design throughout the missions?

Really Really Really Tall Building

Really Really Really Tall Building
Ksp Slingshooter replied to The Jedi Master's topic in Forum Games!
5202: At this floor, you can start to feel the effects of hypoxia and start hyperventilating. You wonder why you even decided to go up this really tall building in the first place. You start having flashbacks of your life, but before you faint you manage to put on an astronaut suit that was conveniently placed on this floor. You decide to move on after resting 10 minutes -
Hey OP, can we also the following category: Space Force: Make a SSTO spaceplane that seats at least 1 pilot and carries at least 2 (space - space/space - ground) missiles capable of defending Kerbin. [Space - Ground] missiles should be able to attack any point on Kerbin's surface (meaning that they are theoretically capable of doing a 90° plane change inclination if needed), de-orbit & reenter Kerbin's atmosphere safely and still have some delta-v left to pack a punch in the target [Space - Space] missiles should be able to defend Kerbin's entire SOI sphere meaning that they have to rendezvous with the target at a 0 meters closest approach and at a significant relative velocity Tip: It's easier to hit a ground target outside your orbit's inclination if you plan the plane change inclination & deorbit burn in the same maneuver node and with the proper antecipation and with a decent TWR P. S: I'm not sure if these requirements for the missiles would make them too big for a regular sized fighter Edit: For the 90º plane change inclination, I calculated 3238,5 m/s, but I ended up needing around 3500 m/s

Is this mod going to be developed for Android any time in the future? It would be cool.

Issue with Contracts
Ksp Slingshooter replied to Ksp Slingshooter's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Thanks for the advice. Does that mean I have to delete all the mods, uninstall KSP, reinstall the game and then the mods? -

Issue with Contracts
Ksp Slingshooter posted a topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
I got a problem with Contracts. Whenever I accept Contracts in the Mission control https://1drv.ms/i/s!AsL_MDss5cDlhXbNxbOOpTx5K5w2 https://1drv.ms/i/s!AsL_MDss5cDlhXfdLm8yEK1Pgaqv and then enter the VAB, they disappear https://1drv.ms/i/s!AsL_MDss5cDlhXjAZw1oP8TuW1ew . But I still get the advance rewards and they don't appear in the failed section. Please fix this problem. -
It's ok. I was asking since I recently installed principia mod.

Hey Arrowstar, I got something to ask you. Is this mod compatible with N-Body Problem implementation in KSP?

Thanks by the explanation. -
Watch your heads for asteroids falling on kerbin!

Thanks for the explanation So, I already gave it a try and it certainly looks pretty interesting, although a bit difficult to understand at first but I believe I'll fully with some more practice. Nice work and thanks for the mod, Arrowstar!
