This is my biggest rover, the CircumNavigator. It has five cockpits, space for four in crew cabins, a lab, communications, science, a drill, solar panels and RTGs, and (untested) can probably make orbit from Gilly and Minmus.

I like to make puns. KSP has some objects/names that lend themselves well to puns. So why not make a thread about it? Here's one to start: How do kerbals measure energy?

Doctor Who is susceptible too. [Spoilers if you are watching this]If you watch the season 3 Christmas special (Voyage of the Damned) [Spoilers if you are watching this], you notice that they are in orbit above Earth. Yet as soon as the engines fail (read: sabotaged), they begin plummeting towards the ground. And no mention whatsoever of the G-forces they would have to pull out of a dive like that as they are reentering.

Fairings. It seems so obvious, but for so many launches I would launch my rover/station/base and realise: "Wait. What is wrong with this thing?"

I think RLA stockalike has small radial decouplers, but I don't know of any other ways to get them. Edit: Sorry, it's actually Modular Rocket Systems. I can never tell them apart when thinking of parts.

I put a space station core in LKO, and then forgot all about it for ten years while I went to Duna, Jool, and Sarnus (OPM). Then I realised I should send something up, and put a massively overweight thing in orbit to try to dock. Missed by about 300m the first time, and did even worse the second. Rage deorbited, completed the docking tutorial, and sent up a stripped-down version of the first. Docked in about 20-30 minutes.

Here's my attempt at this challenge: http://imgur.com/a/o7PJC Speed on landing: 61 m/s, one part fell off (wheel), and no parts broke. Inspired by many Mun rover failures, where upon landing it bounced and rolled.

I have never heard of anything like that happening before. Do you have any mods installed which might be causing that?

I landed on Duna with a rover deigned for landing on the Mun in 0.90. I reentered at interplanetary speeds and only the fact that parachutes opened immediately saved me.

All desktop screen savers are KSP, and my biggest folder is "KSP", with around 400 screenshots and 50 mods for later availability (and also so I remember them)

Wait. Weren't Jeb and Bill staying in the Diamondback? Since it's not currently docked to Duna Station, I would assume that they still would be there.

Kirfal Kerman. Every time I send him on a mission, I imagine his cremates saying: "Be Kirfal out there, Kirfal".
