Make a wish... and have it horribly corrupted!
spacebrick3 replied to vexx32's topic in Forum Games!
Granted, you get all the games but soon lose interest due to the fact that they are less interesting than KSP. I wish that I had a better computer. -

Known for Beginning a Space Program. -
Before 1.1, unattached parts could still be rotated. This made many things easier, such as attaching things to station hubs or attaching rotated parts to ships. Now, they have to be attached in the original direction before being rotated, which I consider tedious and unnecessary. Can you change this back please, SQUAD?

Landing a restaurant and deck on the Mun for the Munar Crusade: -
Ariel.

In Sandbox, depending on the satellite, mine usually have two Gigantors and 4 RTGs, which is probably a little much, but looks pretty cool.

The Osterhagen keys are used, and a series of nuclear explosions blow up the Earth. Time to start over.

How this forum game works is someone starts off with something small (e.g., "A faucet becomes blocked"), and people escalate it until the world is destroyed. Example: User 1: A faucet becomes blocked. User 2: This causes the pressure in the faucet to rise, which makes it explode. User 3: The explosion damages an oil pipe, which also ruptures And so on. I'll start: A glass of water spills.

What was the hardest thing you've done in KSP?

I took a restaurant and deck to the Munar surface for my Munar Crusader challenge. -
That is in the middle of a continent. The apartment complex...

McKerbals Goes to the Mun! (A Munar Crusade)
spacebrick3 replied to spacebrick3's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
So, there hasn't been time or motivation for me to bring my restaurant anywhere else, but here are some pictures of a new deck (with drive-through) that I've been developing. http://i.imgur.com/Ykd9CGe.png It uses the inflatable heat shield as its umbrella, instead of the small Comunotron-88s. http://i.imgur.com/qlDvtZC.png And a drive-through, as requested. http://i.imgur.com/08Xq0Iv.png Edit: That's odd, the images aren't showing up. -

You can live as long as you want, but you have to hold that number in your head forever or the spell will break. You and the other person spend your time frozen, inbreathing, thinking of the number. I wish that the Planet Nine mod would update... -
You try to send it with only the most efficient engines, nuclear engines, and so you craft utterly fails to lift itself out of Eve's gravity well and will stay there until the end of time itself. I'm launching a 64-kerbal station to go to Jool.

I use separate asparagus launchers for payloads, which are basically Mainsails with more/less orange tanks on top. I also have one for really draggy payloads that goes around it instead of below it.
-
I'd like to launch a huge Moho mission, but I'm waiting until the best transfer window (encounter at descending node).

Would the asteroids be tilted as well? And to slow down from an equatorial orbit relative to the surface, would you have to burn normal? I think that would make it more interesting, but also harder to land there.
