Make a wish... and have it horribly corrupted!
spacebrick3 replied to vexx32's topic in Forum Games!
Granted. You can travel there, but you can't bring anything, including a spacesuit. You freeze and suffocate within minutes of your arrival, since you can't travel back. I wish that there was not school today. -
Maybe he looked at gravitational perturbations in the orbits of the other planets.

I'm not sure that's a space mission, but: The Kraken is shape-blind, so he confuses Moho with Bop and eventually dies there. I'm sending a scanner to Minmus with electricity and comms for SCIENCE!

Setting Foot on Laythe (Chapter 5!)
spacebrick3 replied to RocketPilot573's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I believe that's more launch vessels (and recovered rockets) than even @Brotoro! The public might not be happy about it, though. Maybe the tourists will help their reputation recover. -
THE BARTDON PAPERS - "Cancel all previous directives."
spacebrick3 replied to UnusualAttitude's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Arches on Ganymede? Well, no one has checked there recently, so there just might well be arches there. -
The poster above me didn't submit a , so all his Kerbals !

I think we should put it in an iconic place that represents KSP. Where that would be, I'm not sure. I think the Inland Space Centre and Kraken are good ideas, but I personally support it being on Eeloo because of the exploration needed to get there, which is what symbolises KSP for me.

Luckily, I'm on the same continent, so the missiles don't attack me, but instead the next poster.

suggestion : Arcjet rocket
spacebrick3 replied to Sereneti's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I think it's RLA Stockalike. I also think this would be a good "early game" engine, if it had decent thrust to make interplanetary transfers viable without chemical rockets before the NERVA and Dawn. -
Probably docking in the tutorial, as until then I just tried to wing it, and therefore got understandably frustrated watching my space station zoom past at a distance of 300m.

The Saga of Emiko Station - Complete

Love the new porch! Did you create it in @Brotoro fashion, where you construct in in the VAB with parts and then HyperEdit it over? -
Suggestion: Kerbal Galaxy
spacebrick3 replied to The_Rocketeer's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'm not sure this is viable in the near future, because Squad will probably want to work on making the game better, but @Sigma88 has made a mod that does this for most planet packs: -
What is the user above you known for?
spacebrick3 replied to UnionPacific1983WP's topic in Forum Games!
Known for... um... imagining? -
I agree. I noticed those, but didn't put them together. Why does no one speak of it, though? And what about Bill and Bob? Only time (and plot-critical reveals) will tell...

Hello and welcome to the forums! If you're looking to go to Duna, I'd suggest looking in the Tutorials section; all the best rockets are there. Forgotten Space Program is one of the best missions reports out there, glad to hear you like it. In summary: Welcome! You'll have a good time!
-
Maybe it's Mort! He denied being Jeb ("No, Bill! It's me, ----!", in response to Bill's "Jeb?") and he would have a black spacesuit, because he supported Plan Omega!

Every time I achieve something new, like for Mun landings, docking, and creating a successful SSTO. Next up is probably asteroid catching.

Gimbal selector
spacebrick3 replied to OrbitalBuzzsaw's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying that you should need a pilot or SAS to have gimbals? -
Banned for having cut-off images in your sig.

Here's mine, based off @Parkaboy's Eve rover: I'm not using life support though, so it doesn't have a greenhouse (instead, it has SCIENCE!). The only problem is, the ladder and the airlock don't work together well, but I've found a way to get back in.

Maybe there could be a self-destruct part, to be put on sacrifice missions like these. Though, for debris, a "scuttle" button would work if they are unequipped with the part.
-
I think it could be done for much less fuel than Scott Manley imagined, and for one reason: ISRU. If you place your engines on the Mun (or whatever you're using) facing retrograde, and start mining and firing, you'll almost be able to fire constantly if you bring enough drills/converters. Actually, wouldn't the easiest thing to do be eject Minmus from the Kerbin system? It'd take less delta-v than deorbiting it, and the same method would apply.

The Saga of Emiko Station - Complete
spacebrick3 replied to Just Jim's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Where do all the floating rocks come from? I feel that it can't be natural that there's one by every arch...
