[Forum Game] One word to describe the avatar above you.

Many, many times when reading a science report from a part or Kerbal, all you will get is "You observe the X", or "You've recorded your observations about the situation". These science readouts are irritating, as they give no information on the subject matter and become repetitive. I don't feel that it would be that hard to simply add new ones for those situations, and it would make some readouts more fun to get. What do you think?

When they realise, in fact, that "that's no moon". The Death Star turns on them and blows Kerbin to smithereens. I send a tiny science rover to the Mun with a sky crane.

I tend towards asparagus staging with Mainsails and huge clusters of orange tanks for my launchers (as you can tell, I play mostly sandbox), and all my vehicles (excluding some planes) have some basic features: RTGs (usually four, mounted downwards on Cubic Octagonal Struts) Batteries Science (for the defs) Habitation Module (if crewed) Propulsion

Who do you need to explain that to? The aforementioned nuclear missile detonates inside the VAB during construction.

In the future, KSP runs much better and has better physics, but the BACC does not exist and so stays in this timeline and hits the next poster.

Looking for new sci-fi/fantasy/action series to watch
spacebrick3 replied to Tex_NL's topic in The Lounge
What about Doctor Who? That's a pretty solid sci-fi/fantasy/action show. -

Granted. You have no ideas, ever again. I wish that it was morning already. -
When you know the entire Tom Lehrer elements song by heart and have for the past three years.

I flew my Kerman and Kerman rover over to the desert continent to investigate some anomalies reported there on a giant glider of fuel and engines that I strapped on to it. Bartsby and Kirfal weren't too happy about it, but you can see the rover slung under the main body of the plane there. After some fancy flying, it turned around and began flying to the desert. Soon*, it was flying over the mountains, clearing them by about 2km. *not Due to the slowness of my computer (Macbook Air 2014), the flight took a long time, and I had to reload quick saves after I had to quit KSP (I would quicksave, crash the plane, quit KSP, come back, reload the quicksave). The landing went okay, but the plane was destroyed (but since this is sandbox, who cares about the plane?). Below: A picture showing the wreckage, with the rover in the centre (Bartsby and Kirfal are finally happy!). And finally, the map view showing where I landed (the base and probe, not the ship, which is my space station). It's a long drive to those anomalies, but at least I'm on the right continent.

Luckily, I'm not "the next user", so they're not aimed at me. However, they are aimed at whoever posts next.

8/10, wherever that is, anyways.

The only problem with that idea is, if the monolith can only transport kerbals between monoliths, none of the monoliths are outside of the Kerbin system, so none of the kerbals "saved" would escape the blast of gravioli particles.

Is this still updating? It sounds really cool and I would like to give it a try in 1.1.2.

Hyperion I - A Mission to Moho (and Back)!
spacebrick3 replied to Diddly Feelerino's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
That's a great mission. I am also preparing for a long mission to Moho (sandbox), but it will have a lot more in terms of long-term exploration (station, rovers, etc.) -
The Earth is actually a cylinder. That's why it appears to be round (you can go around it), but, if you go to the poles, you can see inside the Earth. Robert Scott found out about this, but was killed before he could tell the world, and his journal replaced. Now, the scientists who work at the base there are studying the geology of the interior, but all their results are intercepted and destroyed before they can reach the outside world.

Nope! @RA3236?

Do not YouTube the Magic Boulder. This will void the warranty.

Granted; it looks like the Doctor Who one, except I wish that it was slightly less windy here. -
2/10 animal cruelty

7/10 you seem to comment around me a lot.
