You mean like a shuttle of some sort? Now that is a neat idea. First to take some kerbal tourists from the KSC to the WSS, have them stay at the luxurious space station, and then continue their holiday onto Minmus! I wonder how long it will take for 'Kerbal Spacelines' to take off....

http:// (CHALLNGE IS NOW CLSOED) Welcome everyone to another 'Quest for Hypersonic' challenge. This is a reboot of a challenge I did in September while already planning to try to make it bigger and better. Well now that challenge is pretty much dead and after some thought I decided to start a new one with some major changes. The original thread can be found HERE. Like in the previous challenge the goal is to build the fastest possible stock aircraft in either one of the two classes. Waverider, and Hermes. There are separate rules for both classes. (Details below.) If your design goes fast enough, you will receive a badge for either going faster than 3000 m/s, 3500 m/s or 4000 m/s. You will be able to put it in your signature. After you have submitted your entry, your result will be added to the top 5 leaderboard if you have beaten the record! So first, a bit of background on hypersonic travel. The term 'hypersonic' means anything traveling faster than Mach 5, or 5 times the speed of sound. Note: The speed of an aircraft is only counted as hypersonic if it is in the atmosphere and under 90 km. The first hypersonic aircraft was built by the US and was a two-stage completaly kerbal rocket that reached the speed of mach 6.7. Nothing but ash and dust remained of the rocket when it 'landed'. The first human to exceed the hypersonic barrier was Yuri Gagarin, (I am looking at you, Jebediah), and after that came Alan Shepard from the US. After that a series of developments led to the X-15 aircraft, which, to date is the fastest manned airplane capable of flight. CLASSES: Note: The rules apply only to the seperate classes WAVERIDER HERMES BADGES: These are the badges you get for building a craft that goes especially fast. You can either get one for flying faster than 3000 m/s, one for flying faster than 3500 m/s and one for flying faster than 4000 m/s http:// This is the badge you will receive if you build a craft capable of over 3000 m/s. http:// You will receive this badge if you build a craft capable of over 3500 m/s http:// Easily the hardest badge to get! This is the grand prize of this challenge! The 4000 m/s badge. Greetings everyone, and welcome to another Community Space Station challenge by the name of the 'World Space Station'. A special mention to @KerbonautTKM for coming up with this idea. The goal of this challenge is like the previous community space stations, which is to build one large space station on one save file (link below). Feel free to build any module you want and as many as you want! DOWNLOAD THE GAME SAVE HERE So to start of, here are the rules: -No DLC -No Mods -No cheats -You have to use KSP version 1.8.1 -One module per mission -Leave a docking port open for others -Please post pics! With that out of the way all you have to do is download the game file and put it into the saves folder. Then design your module and dock it to the space station! I have already built the first module, and it is in a equatorial orbit with a Apoapsis of 150 km and Periapsis of 150 km. It has several free docking ports. So, yeah I think that could work. I haven't participated in a challenge like this, but I believe it works by building the space station in a shared save file that anyone can download. I could make one and launch the first module of the space station later today if no one else wants to.

Is this challenge still open? If so, I would like to enter the GyrFalcon in the Light Fighter category. It is a very updated version of one of my oldest and fav designs in ksp, the Falcon. As you can tell it is very manouverable! http://

I haven't really built any replica craft in KSP, but recently I tried to build a ME 109A. It is still very much work in progress but the plane itself is getting there. I am working on a custom retract system for it. http:// http:// http://

Granted. Except the moment you start playing KSP it starts smoking and your whole computer is burnt and unusable. I wish to have a dragon.

I just came back from the cinema after seeing it and oh man, I have to say it was one of favourite Star Wars movies yet! Rey almost became evil.... My fav part, the return of the Ewoks!

Today I am going to see 'Star Wars, the Rise of Skywalker', and it got me thinking, will the Star Wars saga ever end? I have watched every single Star Wars movie(except Attack of the Clones), and most of the time history just seems to repeat itself in the Star Wars saga. For Example, how many times have the Jedi (or someone else) discovered a secret weakness into a giant weapon of destruction? Let me know in the comments what you think about the Rise of Skywalker and when(if ever) will the Star Wars saga end.
