  1. Using ModuleManager, I want to edit the tech tree or all the parts (including modded parts) to make everything be unlocked from the start of a career playthrough. This is to make a contract-focused mode that is basically the opposite of science mode
  2. That's pretty much the issue. I heard somewhere that it was possible to change something to get even more, but I can't figure out what it was
  3. I want to get more contracts but the game isn't offering any. I have a fully-upgraded Mission Control, so I have unlimited space
  4. This particular playthrough was Duna Space Program, but basically Kerbin with a thinner atmosphere. TL:DR - Kerbin
  5. One of my more recent career mode playthroughs. I plopped Bob in a spacecraft with some science things in a polar orbit and I got METRIC ASS TONS of science for that early in the game (I mean so early I didn't even have probe cores, so I also put Jeb in the craft and just deorbited him after I got the craft up there)! I think somewhere around 300+. Science Jr., Mystery Goo, and Crew/EVA reports are good enough for starting the game. Be sure to plant a flag where you land and get surface samples and reports falling down and stuff. Just do it. It's good, easy science. By no means the most I've gotten, but adjusting for inflation(?) it's like getting thousands in the late game
  6. Maneuver nodes can't be made when not connected to Commnet, but it should be possible to delete them. I want to be able to warp to a point in my orbit instead of worrying about a burn I made three KSP years ago!
  7. I might be able to make the heightmap (that's a biiiiiig might) but I have no idea how to add it to the game or make it match up with itself

  9. Ummm... define see If you mean having it show up when I view the stats in the satellite thing (can't remember the name the ONE TIME I need it). "Atmosphere: No" right now I don't care if I can see the actual gas, but if I could, I want it to be green
  10. That's AWESOME, but what if I just want to dump some extremely thick gas on the Mun and jump from crater to crater like a space dolphin? Do I really have to write the temperature and stuff, or just the pressure curve?
  11. I could use a bit of help - how do I edit planets? Specifically, I want to write a module manager patch to add a shallow, dense atmosphere around the Mun. Just in the craters, like swimming pools almost I'm on Mac if it matters
  12. Okay. I've been playing Minmus Space Program for a few hours now and it's workin' pretty well. The only things I've noticed so far are World Record contracts for Duna BEFORE Bin, and "do thing while flying over Minmus" contracts are impossible for some reason You know more about this than me, but could the atmosphere be lowered a couple kilometers without messing anything up?
  13. I guess Munar Space Program would be cool, but I just want to spill some Eve gas into some Munar craters and see what would happen. Basically making swimming pools but the water is gas and the air is space (atmosphere on stock Mun)
  14. Okay. Thanks. Real quick, could you tell me how to add an atmosphere to the Mun? I just need the basics like the names of the things I'm changing Google doesn't want to help apparently
  15. Perhaps have the option to toggle a thin atmosphere in the world select thing? Just do it once to complete the contract and maybe some other stuff? Or maybe just give Minmus a 1 meter atmosphere that's damn-near nonexistent? Or maybe just completely remove the contract altogether? Edit - Maybe a mode could be added that moves the KSC to a lower point than the rest of the planet (on Minmus make a small crater in the "lake" for the KSC (without editing the map?) and put some gas in there. Also, does anyone know of a planet pack with a planet or moon with a thick atmosphere only in canyons and no atmosphere anywhere else?
  16. Disclaimer - I haven't actually played KSP on console There should definitely be keyboard and mouse support, and many of the best mods should be unpaid DLC. Things like KER, RCS Build Aid, Vessel Mover, and Kerbal X all available for free. Other mods should also be available for free, but that would be WAYYYYYY too much stuff for an Xbox/Play Station store to hold, let alone have reviewed so they'd be downloaded from the internet like mods are for PC. Just my thoughts
  17. Is it possible to fly by Kerbin from Duna and get back again without using too much extra fuel? Specifically, I need to go from Duna to Kerbin and back to Duna again (bonus points if you can get me by Eve, Joo, or Dres as well without using too much fuel). The current time is Year 1, day 235, so I can leave at about Y1, D237 to be safe. When do I leave?
  18. I'm playing the Alien Space Program mod and I can't complete the "Launch our first vessel" contract on Tylo or Minmus. Is there a way to manually complete the contract so I can actually do things in career mode? I think it's got something to do with airless worlds, because Duna still works.
