Whats the hardest thing to do in KSP?

I know this thread is ded, but the hardest thing for me is sticking with a career save once I'm done with the Mun and Minmus, or in Duna Space Program, Ike. I've got an Ike station right now but I need to bring a nuclear generator up there but for that I need more money to upgrade the R&D facility to be able to research them -
Okay. I'll test it once I'm done with my Ike station. I need a lot of solar panels for dat thing! Oooorrrr.... I have nuclear generators from another mod. Hang on up there! I'm bringing ya guys a nuke!

How do I move a Class E asteroid that is already landed on Kerbin?

You probably got it back to the KSC already or are building something right now, but try building a giant jet-powered rover on tall stilts (tall enough with landing gear extended to straddle the asteroid, short enough with them retracted to pick it up with a klaw (or twenty)). Use STRONG parts, especially wheels. Set the friction control to 0 or use Kerbal Foundries hoverpads (this makes it a hovercraft basically). Then just drag the thing back to the KSC. -
Welllllll that didn't work. I got rid of everything. Even my flag pack! Maybe it's just another case of things not working because the universe hates me or something? Does this work on Mac? If not I'll try it on my PC tomorrow

So just get rid of BDA? Also, I can't tell if you're saying I am or not, but I'm not running Atmosphere Fixer (unless it's built in) or any graphics mods Edit - Weeelllll that didn't work

I don't have any other planet mods, just ASP, Kopernicus, and Modular Flight Integrator. I'm loading up Minmus right now to get the logs, but it'll take a while; all the non-planet-related mods use a crap ton of RAM

@Gordon Fecyk @GregroxMun I'm having some issues where starting up Minmus or Tylo Space Program (haven't tested the other ones, save for RestoredDuna, which works). I have all the proper mods installed and I typed the names right, use the proper capitalization, etc. I've also re-installed all the required mods. Instead of working properly, I get Kerbin and the following message - "Warning Kopernicus was not able to load the custom planetary system due to an exception in the loading process. Loading your savegame is NOT recommended, because the mssing planets could corrupt it and delete your progress. Please contact the planet pack author or the Kopernicus team about the issue and send them a valid bugreport, including your KSP.log, you ModuleManage.ConfigCache file and the folder Logs/Kopernicus/ from your KSP root directory. OK (button)" How do I send the folder? Just copy-paste the contents into a Pastebin document or something?

Pretty sure we're both having the same problem - the game loads but the planet is still Kerbin. This has happened to me with Minmus and Tylo, but I haven't tried the other ones yet. I know RestoredDuna works but a bit of the ground is over the runway (the end you spawn on). You can see the problem there

I was just dropping by to download the mod to see how to change the altitude of the KSC and then I realize Minmus Space Program is now a thing! AWESOME!

I know how to move the terrain up and down (thanks @OhioBob), but how do you move the KSC? I want to lower the KSC into the water, which is now above the ground. Just knowing how to move it up and down should be enough, but I need examples 'cuz I'm kinda dumb Also, I might not be able to respond or test things right away because I'm home sick and my dad doesn't let me use electronics when I'm sick

Okay, I messed with that and it's pretty fun. -8000 completely Noah's Arked the place, -66 as you set it gave about a meter of water above the flat part where the KSC was, and -1000 left only higher elevations standing. The islands were pretty much submerged, the mountains were bastions of hope, and Kerbin had a few new continents. I'm gonna see what happens if I set it to something like (positive) 10000 now. Does anyone know how to move the KSC? I think we're on to something Edit - I did what I said I would with the height adjustment and all I can say is 'god dammit I'm scared'. The world's entirely gray, the KSC is underground (I think), and it just feels like you're on an alien world. Also, planes are damn near impossible to control! Edit - DON'T DO IT! The plane I flew, Striker 1, it was on the ground (actually kinda in the ground) when I got there! The KSC is underground! Anything spawned will work, the world looks normal(ish) but when you go high enough, you hit an invisible barrier and are destroyed! Space enthusiasts are doomed! Explorers have nothing to find. If you have Hyperedit, use it to get to the surface, but if you don't, avoid setting it to 10000 Edit - Tried 1000, but the barrier is still there. The rest of Kerbin looks pretty cool though. It's more of an island chain with huge continents but there's still a good amount of water. If you can breach the barrier, do it. -

Wait, does Scatterer physically raise the water level or just make it look higher? I can't run Scatterer either way because it murderizes my framerate- 11 replies

Real quick, could you try to write the code yourself? I'm not sure why but Kopernicus hates me and things that don't work for me work totally fine for everyone else -

That didn't do anything either. I'm gonna try to find a planet pack and compare it to your code. It might be that this just isn't working for me in particular. Back when I tried to put the KSC on Minmus with the assistance of @GregroxMun, it just didn't work even though he said the code looked fine Well that did nothing. My head just imploded when I tried to understand the code in the pack I downloaded. Could someone test the code for me? It might just be me -

@OhioBob I did that but it doesn't appear to work. I just (manually) copied your text into a textedit document, changed the extension to .cfg, and put it in the GameData folder. I have the latest version of Kopernicus installed -
