IIRC you have to have two <thing> in a given place before the contract system will offer you contracts based off them.
For instance, you need two space stations around Kerbin before you'll be offered to do anything to them, or two bases on Minmus in your case.
Don't take this as Gospel truth, but I'm pretty sure @Arsonide is the one I remember saying that.
Thank you! I would have waited forever if it weren't for you.

Hey, i have a core module of a Minmus base but i am never offered a contract to add a new module to it. I'm pretty sure that in 1.0 or 1.0.5 the contract system was overhauled, so that you would receive a contract to add a new module to your station or outpost. Should i just be patient or there is something wrong?

Thanks for the links @samstarman5

Luckily the jetpacks have enough DV to get you into freakin' ORBIT on Minmus. Reaching the door of the lander shouldn't be that big of a deal
But ladders are more realistic it feels more authentic.

Landed the core module of my new Minmus Base, sent Valentina outside, destroyed 3 of the 4 solar panels and realised i didn't bring a ladder.
Kill me.

I'm hyped up pretty good - anyone know when the release is roughly expected?
It has already entered testing, we're very probably getting it in the next weeks.

Yes. However, from gameplay perspective there are differences. As one can still move it and manipulate it, it doesn't fall within the same category of the Mun, Minmus, or Gilly.
But if NASA or the ESA were to take on an ambitious project to bring an asteroid into orbit in order to study it or use it as a foundation for a space station, it could actually be classified a natural satellite once it settled into a steady orbit. As steady as all the other gravitational bodies in the solar system allowed it to have, of course. Especially Tom. Tom needs to cut down on those burritos.
Damn, an asteroid base in real life sounds awesome...

I'm watching it, it's very well made.

I think it would be interesting to add diferent situations for different latitudes and times of the day for the thermometer experiment.
Temperatures in Mars change drastically from pole to equator and night to day, that should be apllied to Duna too (specially to latitudes, just look at the poles of Duna, they're full of ice).
I've just landed a probe in Duna, i used the 2HOT Thermometer to log the temperature, transmitted it and got the science.
I was taking some screenshots during the dunian night and i had this idea, i tested it and got 0 science. Honestly, i was a bit disappointed.
So, what do you guys think?
Btw, here is one of the screenshots it took:

I haven't done anything for the challenge(Barely done anything outside of Kerbin's SOI), but I had a dream where I was stranded in interplanetary space, and Dres showed up and caught me with its gravity. My ship bumped into an asteroid, and was captured into a stable orbit. So thank you, Dres, for rescuing me, even if it was only a dream.
That's an interesting dream. Although i've never dreamed of KSP, most of the dreams i can remember that i've ever had were in space or about space.

Looks like you're gonna need a lot of boosters...

This is a tip for players in early carreer mode.
If you don't have the mainsail engine already, but you want to use 2.5m parts do this:
Use a skipper and 4 thud engines, works great for me.

New one is a bit too simplistic if you ask me.
I partially agree with you, although i prefer the new one, i think @DolphinDude3 should add the details of kerbin in the new flag, it would be perfect for me.

I think the new one is better, mainly for the simplicity.

Docking fun

The first time i docked was around my 40 or 50 hours of gameplay. I was playing in sandbox, making my own objectives, then i thought "why not make a space station, it shouldn't be very hard", turns out it was but i did it.
Oh, and welcome to the forums i'm new too.
