  1. Aww....... Do you need a rover with stupidly big wheels? Replace him with rover. Top text shamelessly stolen.
  2. Can you stick i beams to the outside to help give traction? O.o
  3. Looks like AP+, maybe some tweaking of scale, and some paint mod. Probably DCK if I had to guess
  4. Hmm. The first one would be hard to fix. Practice I guess? One option is always to have a docking port pointed straightout and controlled from with the SAS set to radial out. Second problem - You could add some ore ballast to the bottom. That might not actually do anything though. I wonder if having a bit of lift pulling the SRBs away from the craft would help. Like just a wing panel angled to make it go away.
  5. TLDR MORE WORDS IN ENGLISH NOWZERS
  6. A friend from school showed it to me. This was in 2015 or so. Found it fun, bought it a bit later.
  7. I had off from school so I could play things! Messed about with a potential SSTA-ish. Lost probably now cause I didn't save it.... Can probably recreate it and there are kinks that need to be worked out anyways. Also messed with SRBs. And discovered that spider engines seem to be stupidly good at sea level. ISP is even better than twitch engines IIRC. So I built an orbital rocket. (not shown is a soyuz -esque staging) Oh apparently you can just about see the boosters. Neat.
  8. Pretty sure that theres a chart out there somewhere that has all the buoyancy values plus what makes good ballast and doesn't and that sort of thing. Not sure where it is though... There's also some ballast tanks from some form of mod that could help. A sea plane could be also a good option. I wonder if making it a vtol would be an option, cause you've already got IR anyways. Might also help with pinpoint landings.
  9. Neat. Have you maybe thought about lowering a platform underneath the water level then floating to the booster before raising the platform again to avoid towing something draggy through the water? Sorta like this ship?
  10. Dutch vs Engels? Hmm.... could be interesting to see it play out. Also, cool little plane from the stream. Like the false intake like thing.
  11. I'm not gonna comment on actual thermal capabilities, I do use them kinda often - mainly for aesthetic purposes. By now I only really use the TCS for mining. Much more convienient with the place anywhere behavior. I will say though - while burning on a craft with nukes I did see some mild warming up. Not near exploding levels but warm.
  12. Ahh whoops. Misunderstood, sorry. You are correct about things then...
  13. " On average, seawater in the world's oceans has a salinity of about 3.5% (35 g/L, 599 mM) " - Wikipedia.
  14. Saltwater for blood? I guess thats why we have saline solutions, but its not like super salty, is it? What concentration?
  15. No. Needs more. The pleasure/symmetry is intoxicating.
  16. No, not in flight. In flight each engine is controlled independently, regardless of symmetry. The easiest way to simultaneously change throttle is the throttle. Or shut down engines if the extra thrust isn't needed.
  17. And I'm all caught up now. Darn. I have to find another thing to read..... But it's very good. Moar? Soon ish? Or Eventually(patent pending)
  18. Yes... It's quite a bad habit of mine, blitzing through good writing.
  19. Are you running any mods by any chance? That could affect things.
  20. No... its more like blowing a raspberry according to this video. Though I guess this one also works. Since its been mentioned several times.
  21. Pie? As in meat pie? Sounds delicious. Pity though you can't eat it. I would happily eat it for you (if its good.)
  22. Or maybe two versions - one refoldable and the other not, with a mass/cost penalty for the refoldable variety.
  23. That sounds about right for this particular instance. However, I have also seen it occur on other craft without fairings. Is this also an issue of struts clipping? I'll try updating and see if that fixes the problem.
