Kerbal Express Airlines - Regional Jet Challenge (Reboot)
qzgy replied to Mjp1050's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I will! I just have to polish off its baby brother! -
I'm pretty sure ground effect isn't modeled by KSP, so its probably just a really good stable design.

Asymmetrical drag from symmetrically placed parts?
qzgy replied to Brainlord Mesomorph's topic in KSP1 Discussion
My advice would be to use the debug menu to make sure. Apparently the indicators lie sometimes. -
Besides watching the Falcon Heavy launch (which was amazingly well done), I made a sort of testbed for a landing system for a replica. Hopefully this will be a pretty nice replica. Worried though cause its already at 300 something parts.... Obligatory explosions And something from yesterday. Not too particularly happy with it, but it does look quite nice. Have to give credit to XB-70A for at the very least inspiring the design.

Seriously?! How big?
-
Oh crap, my principal announced the launch over the intercom system!
-
No, in fact!

I think one restart. Normally the restart might be 0? Don't quote me though, I'm not quite sure..

Mind if I ask, but what fails if we have these high upper level winds? Is it a structural thing or is it something with guidance/control?

Better than nothing. What if you setup a hotspot for your laptop?

All Hail.

Only a mouse click? Undramatic. Totally expected a giant big red flashing button complete with a pyrotechnic sequence and ominous theme music

Life At The Top (A KSP Racing Novel) (Chapter 42)
qzgy replied to DarkOwl57's topic in KSP Fan Works
The bruise came out of nowhere. Or maybe I missed something. Besides that, this chapter seemed to develop that whole relationship thing more. I'm still wondering what the age gap is cause, judging by the writing, there's maybe a 7 year age gap (assuming alexis is 25 or so)? Which is kinda large for an 18 year old? I don't know, just rambling. -
Have to agree with you there. Running rough approximations, the ship is about 43 times the length of the Mk3 cargo bay, which when multipled by the 2.5 m length of it only comes to about 110 m and that's being generous. Also your assumption of ornage tanks and large doing ports being 2.5 m wide is correct.
