[1.0.5] TAC Life Support v0.11.2.1 [12Dec]
Calvin_Maclure replied to TaranisElsu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I see. Thanks for the info. So, in other words, just always ignore it? Is there anything proper to do, such as installing KSP-AVC Add-on Version Checker Plugin 1.1.6.1 - MiniAVC - KSP-AVC Online, or what would you recommend? CM -
[1.0.5] TAC Life Support v0.11.2.1 [12Dec]
Calvin_Maclure replied to TaranisElsu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Its actually giving me the ''this mod isnt compatible, please use KSP 1.0.5" message during the KSP load screen. But all of the components, along with previously built modules using them, are there. Ships which had some of the components installed are loading ok. Fluke message, maybe?? CM -
I'm running a fairly modded version of KSP 1.1. All mods are the respective latest KSP 1.1 compatible versions. What works ok: - VAB/SPH (I can load, modify, create new ships, see all modded components that were added, all mod functionality is nominal...) - Tracking Station (I can see all ships ok, new planets from ESO are good, I can go to and fly all ships, new KSP functionality is nominal...) - I can access all buildings at the KSC without any issues - I can load any saved files ok This is the problem I am encountering. Once I load a ship to go to the launch pad, the initial loading screen is as its always been. But once the ship gets loaded onto the launch pad at KSC, the screen goes dark and I only have very limited functionality. The game then proceeds to hard crash to desktop if I try to do anything from returning to launch, to VAB or to KSC. Screenshot of the issue: http://imgur.com/Z0usdh2 http://imgur.com/vW7ygH1 Here is the complete list of mods I was running (minus TAC Life Support for 1.1, Axial Aerospace and FASA. Those were NOT there when the issue occurred): http://imgur.com/b6RC884 http://imgur.com/w558a3S The game is launching from its 64 bit version, so I know that is not the issue. I'm using Windows 10 64bit OS. The really weird thing that I did notice when trying to debunk this is that the ship seems to get instawarped into a solar orbit into deep space or something weird like that. I was able to (somehow) recover one ship and I got science for having retrieved a ship from solar orbit, or something like that... Here's the screenshot for it (this happens when I reload the game and try to launch another ship, at which point I have to clear the launch pad, and it gives me this): http://imgur.com/CyWSTe3 Really unsure what is causing this but, as you can imagine, this is a pretty bad issue. I cant launch anything at the moment. I can only play with what has already been launched. Thanks for any help! I really need it! CM

[1.0.5] TAC Life Support v0.11.2.1 [12Dec]
Calvin_Maclure replied to TaranisElsu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Oh I see. So you have to go into the 1.0.5 version of the mod, find and replace those two files in it, thus creating the ''hacked'' version of the mod, or am I missing something? CM -

[1.0.5] TAC Life Support v0.11.2.1 [12Dec]

Cool. Thanks for that tidbit of info. Im assuming you have to install both files in the GameData folder? Out of curiosity, does anybody know what exactly was ''done'' to make this compatible with 1.1? Cheers, CM -
Gotcha. I figured as much. Yeah sorry for making you repeat yourself. I knew I had most likely skipped that tidbit of information somewhere. Following several threads gets tricky at times! Thanks for the comments! CM

[1.0.5] TAC Life Support v0.11.2.1 [12Dec]
Calvin_Maclure replied to TaranisElsu's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hey, just wondering if this is still working well for you. Id like to get TAC back up and running, so Im curious to know if you've encountered any issues since using this ''hacked'' one. Cheers, CM -
[1.1] Trails - Standalone Gemini Spacecraft [Released!]
Calvin_Maclure replied to Beale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well, basically, prior to installing the TRAILS mod, some crafts were not loading (missing components, e.g.: Spica RCS). I thought this would be fixed once I installed the recently released TRAILS mod. However, Im still getting all of the same ships not loading. All of these ships used Gemini components. So Im wondering now, what the fix for this is. Is it just a question of reverting the part names to their old ones (as found in Tantares for 1.0.5)? CM -
[1.1] Trails - Standalone Gemini Spacecraft [Released!]
Calvin_Maclure replied to Beale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I noticed one thing with this mod and its that all of the ships that use its parts (back in the 1.0.5 days), even though TRAILS is installed (and I can see the parts in the VAB), I guess there must have been some part naming changes made cause its still telling me that the parts are missing (from them Tantares, now TRAILS). I may have missed something here but, is this a bug or is there a way to fix this by reverting the files to the old names? Thanks for your continued efforts on this and all of the other stuff too. Thanks for that! Appreciate it. -
Right, ok. I know you're working on the TRAILS mod, so I'm assuming the best thing is to wait for a 1.1 compatible release of that mod? Thanks for the reply and for the sweet mods! CM

''Gemini parts have been removed and put in a separate pack "Trails". To save your craft, download an earlier version and put in the parts.'' Wait, what? Download an earlier version of Tantares? Sorry, not sure what the proper fixing procedure you're alluring to is...
