[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
TheKurgan replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thank you Galileo, I truly appreciate it. I've only got about 10%, maybe less, of your solar system explored (as GPP_Secondary), and it would be awesome if the planets with atmospheres would look the same way they do when installed as it was originally intended. Cheers.- 7,371 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
TheKurgan replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've been trying to get it working for a while, and I am definitely missing something... probably something simple. I've been able to create my own planets and get scatterer and EVE working... I'm lost.- 7,371 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
TheKurgan replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I understand what you mean in your reply to me a few pages back, and I have been trying... and failing. What I don't understand is why the configs you made for GPP don't work when GPP_Secondary is installed, when I have it installed outside the stock system. Is there a simple solution to get the configs already in place to work when GPP_Secondary is installed? can I copy them somehow?- 7,371 replies

[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
TheKurgan replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I have Trajectories installed... but I have not used it since installing the newest FAR... I will test as well. Well I just did some testing, and not a single drop in FPS with trajectories on or off. Going to remove trajectories and try again.- 14,073 replies

[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
TheKurgan replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This is absolutely an appropriate place to share your experience. Welcome to the forums!! I'm using the newest FAR, and the newest Trajectories on KSP 1.3, and I'm having no delectable issues. @FunnelVortex , is it at all possible that you have remnants of an old FAR install still in your Gamedata folder? Did you try deleting the FerramAerospaceResearch folder, the ModularFlightIntegrator folder and reinstalling them?- 14,073 replies

[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18
TheKurgan replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You are the only one so far (that I have seen) making such a claim... I'm running 108 mods, FAR being one of them, and I have seen ZERO performance impacts from this mod. Maybe there is something else clashing with FAR on your install. Try Exception Detector and see if something else is spamming your log.- 14,073 replies

@Snark I'm confused... this doesn't seem to be an actual "mod pack" but rather a .ckan file... a list of mods basically. I'm not 100% familiar with CKAN, but this seems way to tiny to be a mod pack. Are .ckan files treated the same as an actual mod pack? If so, then my apologies.

I found a solution if anyone is interested. the Docking Iris Sr from @Sticky32's mod Kerbal Tubes works perfectly by replacing the ModuleDockingNode in it's .cfg file with the ModuleDockingNode from Squad's Clamp-O-Tron Sr.
-
Please disregard my last post, I found a solution that fits perfectly with my mission. The docking ports from this mod work perfectly with an update to the ModuleDockingNode.
-
Hello guys, I have a question. I started this topic in Add-on Discussions: I was wondering if you guys could help me out? Is it possible to rescale a larger docking port to the size of a smaller one, and make it work? I want to rescale the hollow Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port XL from SXT Continued down to 2.5 from 3.75 and have it dock with the stock Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port Sr.

Short video testing the maneuverability: https://youtu.be/F1hsNlzyGHE No cheats used... except the GN drive ... oh and and KJR, but that's not cheating
-
Hello all, I have a problem I am trying to solve. The following is an image of one of my science ships. The one pictured has a modified Karborundum engine that works in atmosphere and a GN Drive. I will be using this ship to gather science and explore planets on my deep space (other solar systems) missions. This craft will be docked to a much much larger warp capable ship that I have built and named the Galileo III. This ship is ridiculously fast and maneuverable, and I have extensively tested it... but I cannot get the modified Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port XL from SXT Continued to dock to anything... The modification in question is a simple tweakscale MM patch: Does anyone know how I could make this work... maybe @linuxgurugamer ? I would love to make it compatible with the stock Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port Sr. Thanks.

[1.4.2] Before Kerbin - 2 Billion Years before Kerbol
TheKurgan replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That statement is terribly confusing... -
Thank you. The site seems to be working fine, it doesn't seem slow by comparison to other sites with a similar ammount of content. Is the hardware causing any issues?

[1.4.2] Before Kerbin - 2 Billion Years before Kerbol
TheKurgan replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's not really a big number... I have an old Asus G71 with a Core 2 Duo from like 2008, and it came stock with 6gb of ram... My heavily modded KSP (64bit) install was running out of memory and crashing on my 2015 Alienware laptop with 16gb of ram... my new desktop has 32gb of ram and KSP peaks at 17gb!! -
