    Some of you have been saying that the F9 booster hasn't be reused at all yet. Have they just been making new ones? I wonder why they're doing this. You might be able to tell if new to this part of the forum and I want to start learning about all these space agencies. And all of you are right, they do have different objectives, tourism, large missions and all that. But many of these space agencies could branch out and do multiple of these things. Like, SpaceX could start getting interested in orbital tourism, BO could start thinking about missions to another planet or something like that. It's just like Samsung how they branched out and made products from Mobile Phones to Televisions.

    Well you can't really say they've haven't killed anybody as they could in the near future as they advance their rockets (If they do) and you referred to these cores parachuted into the ocean and pick them up. But, what about Charon? did it go to space?

    Well did Charon go into space? And you do say it is a demonstration vehicle. And I reckon Virgin Galactic are doing better as they probably have a better reputation imo. I know the head of Blue Origin is Jeff Bezos the man behind Amazon but Virgin have an airline and are probably more experienced in aerospace.

    I guess you're right, they shouldn't be compared and one is by far superior than the other. But I can't really say that at the same time as at the moment they still have different objectives at the moment. And I'm a SpaceX fanboy too, Elon inspires me and as you said, is great what he's trying to accomplish. I must say though, what annoys me is how they're trying to steal the credit of this concept of reusing boosters. It is also kind of confusing.. Jeff Bezos being the owner of Amazon and wanting to start a space program. It's like they're planning something big. But then again, even Virgin Galactic is even further then them. I will have to agree on you about how it doesn't matter what company it is. But probably the best candidate currently SpaceX. And yes, the Falcon 9 booster stage doesn't orbit and what it does is basically a half orbit and could probably orbit if it didn't use fuel for landing (but probably be stuck in orbit). But, either way, it's better than going and coming straight down.

    I was watching some videos the other day and come across a video of Blue Origin. It showed their rocket (Shepherd I think it was) and it said they were 'making history' by being able to reuse the booster on their rocket. And a year earlier, There were already Falcon 9's being reused. And I saw some representative of Blue Origin in the video (Or it might've been Jeff Bezos who owns Blue Origin) saying: "Yes, what SpaceX does is very similar to what we do." Even though their Shepherd rocket only went up into space and deployed its capsule then both come back down. So, Blue Origin trying to steal the credit for reusable boosters?

    I reckon it looks pretty cool, even though it's unrealistic. If you'd turn down the brightness and it'd look nice. I just like to see Mars' atmosphere there very thin along the circumference as I find seeing no atmosphere from a distance (even though it really is there) feels misleading.

    That's just how they are.. They're like this in real life and this mod is about being as accurate as possible to our solar system on 1/10 of the scale.

    You mean how to see the planets as distant objects? Just download DOE (Distant Object Enhancement)

    That's a pretty cool rover you got there. Might have to send an all-terrain rover myself. Even more interplanetary ideas!

    Oh. Well is there anyway to get it working while in orbit? because it only shows in the tracking station.

    Strange. I can see the haze in the tracking station. ill get a pic in a sec. There's also a pic while in orbit for comparison. ->Mars Porn!!<-

    Hmm.. I might have to go take another look. Booting up KSP now.

    Yeah, i've used hyperedit to have a look but not in orbit. I used to see the haze perfectly. And I could see it in the tracking station. Maybe it was apart of the SVE in the download? I can see the haze with the optional texture on by the way.

    But how do you get the blue haze anyway? I used to have it but now I don't. I used to be able to see the haze in the tracking station and when orbiting mars but now I can't.

    Well I had a go of the optional textures, and the Earth one looks great! The water is different corresponding to sea levels which looks really nice. Can't wait to see what it looks like in orbit! EDIT: Had a look at it in high orbit and it looks great! Just some feedback, the continents / land look a bit too tropical. (especially Africa.) Oh yea, I can't the Mars blue outline. How do you get it?

    Well do you use all the optional textures on yours? Because Earth on your PC looks absolutely great. Want it to be like yours. (although my CPU and gonna get stoned)

    Oh yea, and another thing too. Do I just put the 8K folder into the RSS Textures folder or the contents of the 8K folder?

    Aha, thanks. Gonna see what it does. Will do 4K textures probably but i'll see. This will test if i'm gaming on a potato I've had this as well. For also re-entry too. I think it's the aero effects clipping through the parts from what I see. However, it doesn't bother me too much. Oh yea, about the aurora everyone, how come it doesn't light up during the night?
