  1. This particular stutter issue may be due to Mechjeb, so I've split it to Modded support, have you thought to ask @sarbian about this issue yet?
  2. I don't have one of these unfortunately, if there is no name in the file then it has no name that Unity can read with Input.GetJoystickNames, Squad might be able to work around that by assigning a name to the controller, I can ask for it to be looked at for the next update.
  3. Hi @AbacusWizard, you might have to upgrade OSX, the Unity site says it needs 10.8+ now.
  4. Squad cannot remove the patcher from old installs any more than any other developer can remove or patch old copies of games on peoples machines, unless the player runs a patch to update that install or is using steam, in which case it's a fight to prevent updates The patcher was already replaced with standalone patches for Windows, available from the Squad store, and the Launcher in recent versions of KSP no longer downloads or runs the patcher, instead it notifies the player that updates are available and directs them to their Squad store account. So the problem is already solved, but if players don't make use of the new system there's not a lot Squad can do about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  5. You might have a bad install, as you are using Steam please try verifying the game cache.
  6. For some reason I am strongly reminded of the 80's
  7. Please try playing without Kerbal Engineer for a bit, and let me know if the issue happens again.
  8. Hi Ben_P, there's a lot of animated objects when looking in that direction, especially when in the SPH as the camera view is lower down, you'll be more likely to have several Kerbals wandering around. The SPH and VAB Kerbals are resource intensive, so they can be disabled via the settings screen. Just disable space center crew and you should find your FPS is much improved. Hope this helps.
  9. Yes it may be a hidden file, also please try disabling the anti-aliasing in KSP's settings screen.
  10. Hi @sauerkrautpie, do you have this issue when using a fresh install of KSP with no mods? The next time this happens please try leaving the game running for a few minutes to see if it responds again, and please open Files and find your Player.log in /Library/Logs>Unity More info on logs here.
  11. This thread is now closed by GDJ's request
  12. Hi @LightningZap, we cannot do anything about account or purchase issues on the forums, please contact Squad technical support at support@kerbalspaceprogram.com and explain what has happened, and include the paypal receipt number, they will be able to help you. There won't be anyone in the office until tomorrow morning Mexico time, so please be patient.
  13. I am too! If you are using Linux I can recommend simple screen recorder by Maarten Baert. Have you tried Firefox with plugins disabled? Edit: I also thought you meant 'liking' posts, I'll try the votes. Edit2: Yes it appears you're right, I don't see a way to remove the vote.
  14. As you reinstalled 4 times with no improvement I suspect the issue was caused by an external factor, and a later software update resolved it. Closing as per request.
  15. Hi arisoft, the setting that has the biggest effect on memory is the texture quality, if you have not already done so I suggest setting it to eighth res. Unfortunately KSP is close to the limit of the resources that a 32bit Windows OS will make available, is upgrading to a 64bit OS an option for you?
  16. Perhaps the wheels are not on straight? We really need your craft file to test, you could put it on dropbox.
  17. Testing, will move this thread hold on. Tested in all 3 of those forums, can't seem to reproduce it, but that might be due to my moderator permissions.
  18. It's definitely a bug, and the dev team are aware, it's actually an old bug that was fixed, but has appeared again.
  19. We'd need to know the cause before we can solve it @Edkopik, can you upload the save somewhere for us to test please.
  20. There should be nothing wrong with this, as they will have newer timestamps than the missing threads, any new posts can be merged on the end
  21. No, please wait for news from Squads IT department, they are aware and are working on the issue. @CobaltWolf, but does it run Linux?
