  1. If it gives you the option of D3D11 mode give it a try, I hear it's as good as if not better than openGL on Windows
  2. Well, it looks like you're forcing openGL on a card that doesn't like to use it for KSP's effects, if you are using -force-opengl try -force-d3d9 or -force-d3d11 instead
  3. It's a bug with symmetry, it can be fixed but it's not guaranteed, you need to remove the part where the symmetry bug started, if you can find it. It's often a case of trial and error, or scrapping the craft and starting again.
  4. This is pretty old FreeThinker, it pre-dates the large docking ports Thanks for the advice but I think you have to go further with stock than just using multiple or larger docking ports, I have been thinking of reinforcing my larger orbit-constructed craft with claw-ended structural beams, jockeyed into place by RCS tugs!
  5. A rubber band pistol was confiscated from algebra class today because it was a weapon of math disruption
  6. Thanks, that's very kind, but I think this thread also should go back to sleep...
  7. Um, pauldbk? montyben posted this in July 2013, I think he's managed to land on the Mun since then, pretty sure of it in fact. I better close this, it's embarrassing....
  8. Last post was 6th July 2012, 20:46 Astrodoc, so I think this thread is dead, I'll close it but please do start a new Star Trek challenge thread for us
  9. Hate to break it to you but freepatentsonline isn't a great source for technology, I've seen patents for things on there that just don't work, aren't clear or are for things that don't and likely can't exist. Like this time machine... Or are made of a few bits of wood, roofing tacks and some wire
  10. Hey it's still fun though, :hailprobe:
  11. I'd just like to remind everyone present that no one has a real need for or right to any addon, and that modders make content for their own benefit first, they are gracious enough to make this content available to others for no cost. I trust that people will bear this in mind while on these forums
  12. The addons like FAR don't look for Linux when determining whether to run or not, just for the Windows 64bit KSP executable, and recently a friend of mine transferred all her addons over from a Windows install to a Linux one. Everything turned out better than expected
  13. Yeah, verifying it through Steam will fix most things, the luncher can do it too via the patcher (when it works)
  14. They should be there if you have the Kerbal Space Program/GameData/NASAmission/ folder, but don't always show up right away. Zoom out in the tracking station to view the space near Kerbin/Mun/Minmus, and timewarp for a bit
  15. I fixed it, had to view the page info and dig out the URL that way though. Please use Imgur in future Lorax
  16. Really, every part should have mass and not be physicsless, though Unity has issues with parts that are less then one game unit in size. Might require another upscale to fix it, 2 meter Mk1 command pod anyone?
  17. Or, you know, flipping a switch You know switches? Or maybe they're called toggles? Pretty common in electrical circuits really...
  18. If you just see the window for a moment it's usually the gfx drivers that's the problem, though you're full player.log and KSP.log can tell us more, please see the support stickies. Also check that the correct driver for your card is installed and working, you should be able to run glxgears and glxinfo in your terminal to make sure.
  19. Not sure how to help you then, my rover was fine with the small probe core still attached :/
  20. Can you please see the stickied threads on support fantasiiio, we need more information from you before we can help
