Hi BrokeDiamond, you don't actually need those mods at all, and you can easily land on the Mun and return with the stock parts. This updated Wiki has the new parts listed, and a lot of other info you might need, as far as fitting them together though, you can do what you like really I think those mods are in the NovaPunch pack but that is not available right now, but like I mentioned, you don't need them.

Orbital Mechanics 101 - A Kerbal Space Program Tutorial
sal_vager replied to pebble_garden's topic in KSP1 Tutorials
I personally like that KSP is not another gun filled combat game. Have to stay on topic...... yes very good tutorial, well done -
bsalis mentioned BARIS, but really Illectro's comment could be considered Spam. illectro, if you want to let people know about BARIS, make a Off-Topic thread.

Jett, you'll be able to edit and upload pics as soon as you reach 5 posts and the upgrader script notices you, it's best to upload files to 3rd part sites though and link them here, as everyone only gets 20mb of storage here. Pastebin is good for text files, while Mediafire can handle mods, and Imgur is great for pics

Hiya Brycah, welcome to the community You have some nice views of Kerbin there, well done

how to create a rocket that won't fall apart?
sal_vager replied to Szkeptik's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Hi Szkeptik, welcome to the community The new large decoupler especially seems a little fragile in this update, and adding struts will only go so far. I recommend you keep an eye on your G force gauge as you ascend to higher altitudes, especially after you have tilted over and are building horizontal velocity, our rockets are more sensitive to G forces now and you will need to throttle back, especially with the new large engine when in orbit. If you keep the needle in the green you'll be okay. -
Hiya Dosage, welcome to the community There are a lot of orbiter players here as well, so I'm sure you'll fit right in

Hi there Avatar98 and welcome to the KSP community There's a mod to fix the fuel until 0.17 rolls around, you can find it here.

The one major problem with mods in the demo, is that the demo has no ability to handle the plugins. Just about any mod that does not use plugins should be fine, and even many parts from mods that do have plugins are still usable, but plugin functionality will fail. Two of my favorite packs for 0.13.3 are the Downunder aerospace pack and the White Monkey kitchen supplies pack, both are still available here in the add-on section White monkey pack. Downunder pack.

Hi heikkik and welcome to the KSP forums Shame Jeb is going on such a long holiday, at least he gets a really good view from way up there though

Pelf, all the rules are made by Squad, and some even come from Elecro Chango. The mod team acts on these rules, that is all we can do.

Hi SimonC6R and welcome to the KSP community I'm really glad you are enjoying KSP so much, it is an amazing game and it just gets better with every update, speaking of updates, here's what you can look forwards to

Damion has somehow found himself as being the bad guy on the KSP forums, as it has almost always been him who undertook the bannings, warnings and similar high profile negative actions, and now anything he does seems to reinforce that image no matter the times when he is lenient or understanding. It has become something of a thing on these forums that Damion is the "big bad mod", this kind of attitude towards him self reinforces each time he deals with a problem, he takes the flak for the rest of the team so we don't have to, and as a result of that many members feel he is heavy handed. He is vilified for this activity but he is seldom praised, his attempts to be fair are missed by most, you can imagine the affect this would have on a person. When DamionRayne does something positive for the community, and he does do so more than most members realize, your support would go a long way towards helping him and the team feel like we are on your side.
-
I feel like I need to say something, myself, DamionRayne, and the rest are volunteers, we do not make the rules, we are given the rules by Squad who is sometimes given the rules by their parent company. We as volunteers have decided to give our time freely to help keep the Forums running, without a Moderation team the Forums would be closed. Sometimes when things are going wrong we need time to breath, so we quarantine posts and consult the rules we have been given, this can look bad to some people. Sometimes we make snap decisions, but it is always towards one goal, keeping these Forums open and safe for all members. When the rules are broken, we have to act, we are human, we do the best we can, and we all have your interests at heart. Thank you.

O2 has been good to me, only issue I had was with the recent network failure, and that was the only one in about four years.

Hi mkn, and welcome to the KSP community, I hope you have a great time here As for the engines and stuff, there is an add-on called Dynasat that can do a lot of this I think, I'll find you the link. Here is Dynasat. And here is an energy plugin.
