  2. Hi Enture, welcome to the community Maybe you can make a few youtube vids of your flights? It doesn't matter if they aren't 100% successful, people will still watch them. Flights fraught with danger and drama are always the most fun anyway

Hi Romanofsky, welcome to the community It would be a great help to us if you could upload your .craft (and a pic would be nice as well) so other members can try your rocket and look for the problem for you, I personally find however that if my space shuttles have wings that are allowed to generate lift during the ascent, those wings are often the cause of unwanted "tippy overy-ness" so what I like to do is make sure my shuttles wings are side on to the airflow, so cannot generate any lift. Picture the Space Shuttle taking off sideways and you will know what I mean. Also, to attach pics, I recommend you use Imgur, and use Mediafire for the .craft file, then post the links here
  7. Carl, pics and a craft file would help immensely with working out your problem, the turning though, are you just Yawing (A,D) or are you Rolling (Q,E)?

  10. The standard procedure in game development is to build the bulk of the game during the Alpha stage (where Squad is currently), work solely on bugs during Beta, and finally release the 1.0 version. It'll be during Beta that performance efforts will be undertaken
  11. Master, KSP has realistic orbital physics, which is the backbone of the game, and it is intended to be approachable, if you want a hardcore simulation there is Orbiter

  14. Well Galileo, the ASAS helps a bit with that, but you still need to be careful when trying to maneuver as you have to turn it off for that. For small rockets, the Avionics package seems to work quite well, it's not just for planes
  15. Squad have no plans to add weapons to KSP, and want to keep KSP a non-violent game. Any weapons that KSP sees will be from the add-on community only

  18. Compact, I like it, but you know that the aircraft engines will eventually only run on aircraft fuel in a future update yes? The aerospikes will be fine though as they are actually rocket engines Oh also, I can't download this as I need to sign up first, which I won't do, and nor will many other members here. I suggest you upload this craft to Mediafire, as an account to download is not needed, and it is a far better site for hosting files like this
  19. I think you mean the White Monkey Kitchenware and Space parts pack You should be aware though that the plugin did not work with 0.15, and 0.16 introduced even more changes to the plugin system, so while this is a great pack, it is not useful for its satellite or its cargobay.
  20. Wow Darkwolfpaw54, you must have had an awful lot of lag with that many Kerbals, on the Mun and on Minmus, I don't think I have seen a computer that could handle that outside of a government facility
  21. No caves as far as I know, not yet anyway, and the Minmus monolith is hard to find, it's amazing how rarely people look up

  23. You can find it in the plugin powered add-on section of the add-on board. Seeing as this was the whole purpose of this thread, it is now no more use, and can be locked, also please use the search feature in future
  24. Yeah, that was a bit fast, what you want to do is do a burn to kill your horizontal speed before coming down vertically to land, I prefer to do my de-orbit burn when at a periapsis of 10 to 15km, that way if I mess up I'm on an orbit that wont paste me over half the moon
  25. Hiya captgates, and welcome to the community Glad you are making progress with the Munar landing, my preference is to get into a low Mun orbit, say with a periapsis of 10km, then do a deorbit burn so I don't land at 100m/s+, try to touchdown at below 5m/s for good (non explody) results
