  1. Hi alone, the lowest possible non-decaying orbit would be just above the atmosphere at 69,100m by 69,100m though you might have to be slightly higher depending on the size of your satellite
  2. Hi Hircine, welcome to the community The floodlights require the Cart plugin which can be found here
  3. Hi Duxwing and welcome to the community KSP will get more costly as time goes on, I don't know the projected final release price though, but it is worth getting as Yamacrane says, the extra features in 0.16 alone are worth it and with 0.17 in the works, KSP is just getting better all the time
  4. They are always working hard Apocalyptica602, and you can check out the new Dev blogs
  5. I think it's not out yet, and that this thread will start arguments about why Windows 8 sucks, Mac OSX and Linux, so I am closing it now before it's to late
  6. _Aramchek_ is right guys, this thread is for discussing the 0.17 release
  7. It's been over two months since the last post in this thread, I suggest you PM Radion about this pack if you must know, I'm going to close this as it's old, Radion can reopen it if he is going to continue with this
  8. Edd, trees are a Terrain Scatter in the current 0.16 release, just turn on scatter from the graphics settings page
  9. Nice looking jet thesandbar, you might want to upload your pics to Imgur then link them here in Image tags, I recommend Spoiler tags as well for all pics after the first one so people can get an idea whay your craft is like and can choose to open the spoiler Also, don't forget you can edit your posts now you are a Bottle Rocketeer.
  10. Grand Lander, edit your original post to add your story
  11. Spartan117, Runway 27 and Runway 9 is aviation jargon, basically the runways are numbered depending on the direction they face, and each runway faces two directions. The KSP runway faces 270 degrees and 90 degrees, hence the designations
  12. Hey one of the best things about KSP is learning how to play So many Kerbals have crashed so many rockets, and left so many bits of debris in orbit, it's amazing they have any metal left
  13. drippygoo, this is a very old thread, over three months since the last post, and all the links are broken due to the move to vBulletin It is good forum etiquette to refrain from posting in any thread over one moth old, unless you can add something meaningful to the discussion, and threads more than three months old should always be allowed to rest in peace
  14. Welcome to the community Taug, it's good you are getting in some landing practice, as there will be more places to land in the next update
  15. There is no way to do that at this time, though KSP is going to be on Steam eventually, you should be able to buy it there
  16. You can have a friend buy KSP for you then give you the account, I suggest you send this friend the money, so he can buy KSP with his card, then he removes his account details before he passes the account to you
  17. This looks like a question, and it should be in How-To, I'll move it, but you really should search, or at least have a look at a few pages in the How-To board, as this question is asked a lot
  18. Hmmm, how about you try my preferred method, launch as normal, then tilt about 45 degrees due east when you reach 12km, take it slow on the pitchover maneuver with large rockets though. Pitch again to about 70 degrees east at 24km, then again to 90 degrees when your apoapsis reaches about 50km (check the the map) Cut off the engines and coast to near apoapsis, then burn once more to circularize your orbit
  19. Hiya Raven Coldheart, welcome to the community Mun, Minmus and Kerbin? Sounds like a triple landing to me, congrats
  20. This was done once, though I think the add-on no longer works, and it certainly is not kept up to date, it was a heat-shield my Moach I believe, modified by NovaSilisko long ago, though I may be wrong.
  21. Hi DatGermanGuy, as Cepheus says, reviving old threads is bad forum conduct, especially one as old as this is. If a thread's last post is more than one month old, you should think carefully before you post to it, and only post if you are adding something of value that cannot go in it's own thread. I would suggest that any thread more than three months old be allowed to rest in peace, no matter what you might want to add to it
  22. Hi benburch, welcome to the community This is your best bet for now as the move from Simple Machines to vBulletin killed all the old links, and it is up to the makers of the affected threads to repair them. If you know an add-on's name, you can also use the Search box
  23. rasheed, there is absolutely no need to speak like this, yes it is an old thread but it is just a thread on a forum, not the end of the world, and there is no specific rule on necro posting, it is merely bad form to revive such an old thread without good cause. I suggest you relax, get a coffee or a tea, and stop worrying so much about necro posting, if there is a real issue, inform a Moderator, do not shout at other members. I have now closed this thread, darkwolfpaw54, please check the dates on threads you post to, I would suggest that any thread more than 3 months old be allowed to rest in peace. Edit: Even a thread one month old should be left alone unless you have something important to add to it.
