  1. What mods can I use if I want to have a fully renewable base somewhere (or at least greatly increase the time between resupply missions)?

  3. Serious Kerbal Business has some interesting strategies for modded players, although I've yet to try it due to juggling contracts and research being quite enough for me.

  7. I misunderstood, I thought the models were being made from scratch. I have no real experience with MM. I'll probably still try my hand at it for fun, though.
  8. More requests, I haven't even started sending up mothership modules to LKO and I'm already running into engineering problems... USI Freight (1.0.5) Starlifter (chassis for mounting Kontainers, large toroidal SAS module, reactor similar to the MKS/OKS ones) Honeybadger (not really sure, never used it)
  9. I might be able to provide some models for bigger alcu drives, if you give me some specifics like max polycount, # of sides, and i'd need pics of the smaller ones. Also I'd need the file format you want them in. I can't do blender files, but I can do .obj and .fbx files and some others.

Maybe it's because I built up experience using Sandbox and Science mode, and being that kind of player use mods like KER to try and find the most efficient rocket configuration, but I've never had any problem getting to minmus as long as I could acquire enough funds to upgrade the Tracking Station and the Mission Control center to Level 2 for patched conics and maneuver nodes. I suspect i could do it without either, though i would waste a lot of fuel and probably miss.
  11. You could always try getting Minmus tourism unlocked, that's cheaper and easier than Mun tourism.
  12. I've never recorded any KSP, but I like OBS Multiplatform. Free, opensource, and relatively intuitive.

  15. Managed to pull off a Mun flyby, which got me enough funds (World First awards) to upgrade the VAB, so my troubles are over Lots of great suggestions, though - thanks
  16. I'm doing my first career save after quite a bit of science mode and a little bit of sandbox, and I am having a lot of trouble turning a profit on tourism contracts due to the 30 part count limit. (If I could upgrade the VAB, I have designs that will work, but...) Any suggestions?
  17. Requesting permission to use USI Survivabilty (airbags, inflatable floats, escape pod system) I assume Lithobrake Exploration Technologies is allowed, it being previously approved.
  18. Would it be acceptable to complete the challenge in KSP version 1.0.5? Edit: Clearly I need to read more
